Pressed 1, asked to be put on the "Do Not Call" list. The operator just said "Why?" I repeated myself. He said "WHY? WHY? W-H-Y? WHY?" -- not kidding, he broke character in a heartbeat. I just replied "Because I'm asking you to." The sheep just muttered "I don't know" and hung up. I tried calling back (because I'm a glutton for bitching people out when I'm in the right), but the number wouldn't connect.

They're scammers. They're idiots. They're the bane of society. I hope they call Liam Neeson from Taken on an off day.

Recieved call at 6pm, caller ID showed Burlington NC, didn't answer since it was a different are code. Figured they were a bunch of low life scammers.

Another one of the spoofed numbers used by the "card services" scammers in their attempts to rip us off. Google my name to learn how to stop their annoying calls, while also having some fun!

This service should give us the address were the phone number is billed to, then it would be truly a great service!  This was an automated call in regard to my credit card account and something about help from stimulus money.

Just got spam called by these guys.  Called the number back and it is disconnected. How did they use a number that has been disconnected?  The phone company should be reported for even ALLOWING these guys access to these numbers AND OURS!  And my number is on a do not call list! HARUMPH!

I just got a call from them as well. I usually like to indulge a little bit just to see where it's going so I can make reports on these scammers. The guy proceeded to YELL at me and tell me he didn't need my full credit card number just the first and last 4 digits.

Just be careful! I know most people know about these types of things nowadays, but ya just never know who your talking too.   I told him he was a moron for thinking I'd fall for it and if he's really trying to "lower my interest rate" why is he asking me for all the information?!?  And why in the hell is he yelling, that's not help, that's annoyance, go F yourself and leave me alone!  :)       As I was hanging up, I could still hear him yelling at me through the phone.

Then of course, ya call back and the number doesn't exist....what I wouldn't give to be able to catch one of these people red handed....somehow!!!!

It was on my cell phone, I do have cards and it was at noon on a Tuesday!   Guess they never quit!

9-10-13  This very same number called me too. First on my main cell number at 2:13pm CT and then a different number from the same area code called at 2:29pm CT on my cell phone provided by USAC. I don't answer numbers I don't know and they left no message on either number. My main cell is registered on the Do Not Call List in my state and I just updated and included my USAC cell number. I am going to file a complaint with the Attorney General in my state. I put in a search for this number and it came up belonging to Saul G. Mejia @ 526 Homewood Ave. Burlington, NC 27217-2844 and was listed as a landline. When I called back both numbers using *67 a recording said the numbers are not in service. The other number was 336-522-5537 and was also listed as a landline but I could not get the address.

Got the got while I was at work, which is a bank. Obviously I wouldn't give any info out to them, and a bank would NEVER ask you for your credit card number!! If anyone have them info have the card closed ASAP!

No message from this unfamiliar number. I am suppose to be on a Do Not Call List but since people are using their cellphones, there is no way to prevent this.
