Got a call too from this number, it said it was an important message for lowering down my credit stimulus something.
I hung up right away. Happened with me before from another number, they said they were working with VISA.
Dont know how dis they got my name though. He asked for my full card number and when i told him i will only give u the last 4, he hung up.
After that i called my bank and they told me there is nothing like lowering interest rate as an offer. And shen a bank calls, it will be from a 800 number, not a normal number.

me as well.  I just got a call from them; saying the same thing about credit card rates. I insisted on his name as he tried to talk his spewell over me I again insisted on his name. Chris... I said this is my daughters phone and he then hung up on me.  When I called back number was disconnected. ??? How can a number call you then be disconnected? Who is supposed to stop these kinds of calls.. maybe it should be monitored and included in the fees from whichever phone carrier you have..

Goodness, 3 calls in one day! I've asked to be removed from their list but they always hang up. We don't even have credit cards. How do we get them to stop calling.

I have been getting calls from this number a lot lately. I finally decided to answer (I rarely answer numbers I don't recognize, especially if it's from an unknown area code). They said something about my credit card. I DON'T HAVE A CREDIT CARD. I pressed 1 to speak to someone (with the hopes of figuring this out) and was unable to understand the person speaking (too much background noise...even busy call centers aren't that bad), asked him to repeat himself, STILL didn't understand and asked AGAIN for him to repeat what he said. He hung up. MOST DEFINITELY A SCAM!

The recording on the auto dialer told me that I needed to take action immediately on my credit card and to press 1 to speak to someone...so I pressed 1...I asked them to remove me from their calling list and he the guy with an idian accent said "I have 8 inch [***]," then he said "I will come to your house to show you, it is white, not black, do you believe me?" I'm sitting here trying to figure out how to report him so if anyone sees this reply and let me know what I should do. I called the number back and it was disconnected. I'm guessing they are not even traceable.

I got a call and the person said I could reduce my interest rates. I ask, "What card information do you have for me that lead you to call me. He said, "I just told you we support all major cards" I pressed him further and he hung up. SCAM!!!!!!!!

I am on the do not call list. I pressed 1 for an operator. When I asked to be taken off their list the man who spoke broken English told me to "Shut the f--- up." I looked up the number on google and came across this website where this scam is calling people. I believe it is a Vontage phone number and based in another country. I am going to write to Vontage and let them know of this possible scam.

Do not call lists don't exist I'm sorry to say. Well, not legitimately it seems. I've registered my previous number with do not call lists and I got more BS calls than before I registered my number. You're better off not registering with do not call lists as far as I'm concerned.
