Got the call from 336-228-6986 didn't know who it was, thought it was my aunt maybe but not, if they wanted my info they could have tried a lil bit harder to get it and speak English

Got a call from this number - they left no message.  Masking my caller ID, I called back - and guess what?  'This number is no longer in service' recording.  Per the other comments - apparently a scam.  Going on my 'reject call' list!

My husband got a call from this number asking for me. Guy said that I owed money on my Mastercard and it needed to be paid NOW. Husband told him I wasnt home. Guy told him that he could pay it for me. Husband called BS on him and caller hung up on him. BTW....I've never had a MAstercard!

I've received numerous calls from this number within the past month. All of my credit cards are paid in full. When I pressed the number to get to a live operator, I asked them to remove me from the calling list. The guy made no response and hung up. I've done this two times; dialed the live operator, asked to be removed, no response, got hung up on.

Also, when you call the number back in hopes of getting somebody, ANYBODY, the line is disconnected.

Received a call from this number on my cell phone - a North Carolina number, even though we live in Florida.  It's disturbing that they can call anyone and sounded so authentic - if people are not watchful or careful, they could be taken in by scams like this.

Yep, I've been getting calls from this, too ... I haven't answered it yet, and now don't plan on it.  They never leave message.  it's a scam of some kind.

I've never even had a credit card. Where the hell did these people get my number?

Got 2 calls today no vm. Are people realy falling for this? Maybe it's run by a nigerian prince.

called 3 times in 1 minute during a back to school conference.  worried that something bad was happening since I do have an NC cell #.  but no message and now I feel so much better that I did NOT pickup.

Got a call, about 12:30 pm EST didn't answer. They didn't leave a VM

They call and hang up after I say that I am going to turn them in to the BBB.  Is there a way to stop this?

I got a call from these people talking about. My "credit card" I dont even have one and so I kept asking questions and eventually I hung up.  The. Same guy called me back and called me a [***] and hung up!

Called but left no message, glad I did not answer!  No time for idiots!

They are getting your number from craigslist... to date my number has only.beeen displayed on that site

Got a call from them, I picked up and the machine said they have a very important message for me regarding my overdue credit card. I hung up on them.

Received a call today at 9:00 a.m. while I was trying to sleep (I work the graveyard). Pressed "1" to be directed to someone else and was given a moron who was obviously high as a kite. No calls since then, other than their other number. It was a 690 area code, and I have alerted AT&T of this issue.

He's not the only person who can barely speak English.

The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers so they can rip us off. People that have given their card number to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others before they are cheated!

just got called today, ofering 6% for life in APR on my "MASTER Credit Card" which one i asked?

"the main one, your master credit card... wherever you have it Bank of America, Capital One, which ever works.

Regardless of the Do Not Call List, our phones keep flooding up with telemarketers and bogus offers!

I appreciate this information available here.  I also received this call earlier but was unable to answer but of course I research all numbers prior to returning; so now I know the real deal.  If I take the call next tine, they will be in for it.  Of course, I did a call back and the number is disconnected.
