Yet another of the endless "second and final" notices to lower my credit card payments etc scam.  This was the second time that the number would not disconnect in spite of my hanging up until the entire recording had played.  Each time I picked the phone up again there was the stupid recording still droning on.  This is only one of the numerous  calls from the 360 322 66XX trunk lines.   So much for Do Not Call!

They will keep pestering us as long as it  profitable for them.  We can make it unprofitable by keeping them on the line as long as possible without giving them any real information. thereby tying up their phone lines and personnel.

got robocall from 360-322-6668 caller ID said "CARD SERVICES" on Friday 05-09-14 @ 1207 PM

the above came 6 minutes after the robocall from 910-431-3415 caller ID said "UNKNOWN NAME" on Friday 05-09-14 @ 1201 PM

This time the message was from Bridgette from "Account Services" wanting to lower my Interest on my credit card..........press 1 to talk to a......"So I pressed 1 and a maybe the same female came on the line and started to ask if I was responding to lowering my Interest rate. I again said "yes I am M***.F***..and immediately started blowing my SCAMMER HORN in between telling her more expletives and more SCAMMER HORN until she hung up AGAIN.

She must have liked the expletives so much she called back = AND GOT THE SAME THING TWICE !!!!!

I have received at least 6 calls a week for the last month or so.  I usually let it go to voicemail, and send an auto reply 'text' stating "This is a business number that is on the do not call list.  You have been reported to the FCC.  STOP CALLING!"
I also receive a reply stating the message was received.  When I reported them, I received a form letter from the FCC saying it's not 'their job' and thereby; they can't do anything about it.  Great.  So today I answered the call and pressed one.  Prompted messages - you are the 24th caller, the 13th caller, the 7th caller - and was connected to a human being who, oddly enough - is the identical voice on the recorded messages from previous calls.  I explained this is a business phone, she kept speaking.  I raised my voice to be heard over her's, "IS THIS A RECORDING or a live human being?".  She didn't respond but she did stop talking.  I repeated "This is a business number.  I need you to take me OFF your list ..." click, she hung up.  I called back and got a recording. "Thank you for calling back.  If you are not interested and would like to be placed on our do not call list, please press 1 now".  OF COURSE pressing "1" gets you NOWHERE - the recording is a constant loop.  I don't know how to get rid of these people but if I ever find myself in Arlington WVA, I will certainly pay them a visit.

Get a lot of these. Answered one way back in january. Haven't answered one since. Sometimes I still get up to 4 calls a day and I always let it go to voicemail. It always leaves a message that doesn't have any talking in it. It's freaking annoying.

I told AT & T that I felt the reason the major phone carriers will not take on this problem is because they make money from charging for phone block and eating up time from people who can't afford unlimited call services.  These criminals use up their time little by little and poor people just have to buy more.  These may be rotating loop type calls but the FBI could find out what criminal is paying what phone company for the right to use any or all of these numbers.

Contact the FBI and as soon as possible report this to your local congress representative.  The local police departments will not help and they probably do not have the funds to do so anyway.  This is elderly abuse and RICO and every other damn thing I can think of.  We have to start making so much noise about this that eventually the authorities...primarily government....will have to help all of us with this.

    Commuter
I regularly talk to these idiots while I commute....I have the time.  Today, I spent  26 minutes of their time giving them bogus information.  I waste their time so they are delayed in taking advantage of our precious senior citizens.  I get a cathartic value from it.

[***]….       do they seriously not have anything better to do.?    They call all the time and hang up in the middle of my request to take me off their call list…   very irritating.   Then if you call the number back the option tells you to click one to be taken off the call list and yet the calls keep coming!!!!!!!    So irritating that these vultures are out there doing this to people…scamming them out of hard earned money.  I wonder how they would feel if the same thing they are doing to others was done to their daughter, mother, sister etc. etc.?

    Irritated
Got another one today.  I put them on the call blocker blacklist but my wife picked up and was in the process of giving them her credit card numbers when I interrupted her.  Browsing the messages here, I find posts that they empty your cards to the credit limit, or make loans to pay them off at a lower interest rate which dings your credit rating.  If they do both, they can reap the total of the credit limits of all your cards, leaving you with a massive debt equal to about twice the total credit limit of your cards to a loan entity of dubious provenance.

I once tracked "Card Services" to a mail drop and call forwarding service in Las Vegas, then to offices in Tennessee and Florida, where the trail got lost.  This set of numbers, (360) 322-666x, apparently corresponds to a call forwarding service in Marysville, WA, just north of Everett, WA - a nice town North of Seattle that represents the northernmost reach of the Seattle-Tacoma metropolitan area.  The local police tell me that these people may not even be in the US, that some foreign scam specialists train people in US accents; if these people are among them, that is why the FTC can't do much about them and they can ignore the do-not-call list with impunity.

The answer is a call blocker, for about $60 you can get a good one online such as on Amazon, or locally.

Last week my husband and I received a call from "Steve" about security on our computer. We have received many calls from this number and many others as well. My husband took a whistle and blew it as loud as he could. We have not received another call from "Steve" yet. Just wanted to post this as a thought. I do not know if or what can be done about these calls. I believe that these people "piggyback" on legitimate phone numbers to make calls. And as someone stated before it is probably someone from another country which means they cannot be prosecuted. I do not know what can be done to rid us of these callers. I can only hope that there is a special place in Hell for these people to go. This is just like computer hackers, that can cause millions of dollars in damages to people and corporations; and cannot be prosecuted because they are from another country. If you or I broke into a business and caused that much damage we would be sitting in prison for the rest of our lives. Sadly, our government cannot prove or prosecute these callers and hackers from other countries. So it is left to us to figure out how to stop or avoid answering these callers. Wish I had more positive answers. Good luck and take care.

Daily spam calls, with an "opt out option" that seems to mean, call me back tomorrow.  Finally spoke to an operator who hung up the instant he realized I didn't want the service.

May 12,2014..8:15 p.m.   What a royal witch,,go ahead, you can change the first letter to a "B".  I pressed one, as pressing the other number to "stop" the calls doesn't work. I told her I was going to report them to annoyance call center and she said she's been doing this for 30 yrs and there is no such thing?? Oh really, then why is the # in the front  few pages of the phone book? She heard my husband in the background and said she doesn't like his tone...do you believe that ? Wow, she's got some nerve !
