I got a call from this number. it was an older man saying that a while back someone from my family was looking for affordable health care. I told him no one ever set anything like that up. then the call d/c'ed.

They called my phone who is this they did not leave a message

They just called me now. I don't answer to numbers that I don't recognize. Good thing I didn't. Some people just have nothing better to do   #lame

Just called my work (public library) asking for me by full name. I never go by my given name, so I was a little drawn back that someone was asking for me by my given name.  I asked her again to repeat the name, and she said Im looking for __ ___, as she contacted us about a affordable insurance.  I said, you have reached a public library, and no we are not looking for insurance. Please remove the number.  She said she was sorry to have called a work location and would update their contact.  I did not request not answer any survey that the caller claims...I (or at least the person she was reaching) did. So its a bogus call.

I had seen the number on caller id, earlier this am...but before we opened. So I know the caller has called at other time, but when the phonelines were not available.

Hey people...here is some advice. Check with your phone company to see if they have a caller block. Mine has one and I had to pay a little extra to get it, but it was worth it. Once I enter the number, they cannot call me anymore.
Don't bother even registering with Do Not Call Registry..it's a waste of time. They don't have the time nor money to investigate every single number you complain about. Besides, the ones you need to go after is your phone company..they are the ones who put your number out there, and they are the ones who allow these scam artists to have a phone number to run their scams and businesses in the first place. Anyone can get a toll free number for a price, do you think the phone companies are going to pass up that deal?
Think about it..I can call the phone company, ask for a toll free number and run a scam. As long as I pay the phone bill each month, the phone companies don't care what I do.
I say we target the phone companies...lets call them endless hours everyday until they get the hint.

Rude telemarketer or person fishing for information.  Asked me for my name and then hung up.

I just had a call from that number as well and they asked for kate as well.
Said it wasn't her phone, they said they'd find another way to contact her.
Yep, she was pretty rude also.

I would love to hunt these people down that violater my peace of mind with MY PHONE NUMBER.  If a number is not on my cell phone caller list I don't pick up.  It's a shame we have to live like this.

They keep leaving a voice message.  Is there anyway to block that?

They call me a couple times a week and have never said anything, just hang up-it's so annoying!  But my computer was hacked into last week. After reading all this I wonder if it's related.

Repeated calls all day long with no messages left.

Just called for the 3rd time in 2 days from 360-474-3262(Wash) so I decided to answer, caller was a male, possible hispanic, approx 18-24 years old asking for Jamie, he abruptly hung up after being informed Jamie doesn't live here but Janie's got a gun and is friends with you guessed it....Aerosmith! Don't let the little stuff get ya down, its all about perception.

It's coventry insurance.  I went online to get quotes and like an idiot put my actual number.  They call 5 times a day!

The last several weeks I have received several calls from the 360-474-3262. When I do answer the caller hangs up. My caller ID says "Service Call NH", I don't know who this is and would appreciate it if they would stop these harrassing phone calls. I am not interested in any type of over the phone purchases!

Here we go again... 10:40 a.m., got another call from this number... Marysville, WA?  Please... I NEVER answer calls from numbers I'm not familiar with.  Have had to resort to leaving my ringer off ALL DAY LONG because I get these calls constantly... ONCE AGAIN I will report them to the FCC...
