We bought a 5-handset + ans machine system at Costco 2 years ago for about $100.  It lets you block 30 numbers at no cost. Brand, Panasonic.  Great bargain.  Unfortunately, we've exceeded 30 and have to drop older numbers to add new.  We would estimate that 80%+ calls are now garbage.  We are on the Don't Call list for US and Texas, but I think it's made things worse.  The volume has more than tripled since then.  
Is it possible these callers use the list to identify valid phone numbers?  The law has no teeth and these outfits call with impunity.

I keep getting a call from number 360-474-3262 and they never leave a message.  No answer when I call back

This number called my phone - left no message. Caller ID says "SERVICE CALL NH"

I got a call from 360-474-3262....answer the phone....no said anything. I finally hung up and goggled the number.

Getting one or two calls a day from this number - 360-474-3262. Never have answered it.

They call several times a day and waste my cell minutes.  If I answer, they hang up.

Keep receiving calls from 360-474-3262... I haven't and WON'T request ANY insurance quotes online; I have a local agent that gets ALL my business. I don't give out my cell #, and yet I am getting beaucoup calls from these "people" as well as tons of other TNs. Am not interested in buying "insurance" or anything else from a voice on the phone. If I want something, I will research it, then go to a reputable dealer or agent to purchase it! Currently my only option to block unwanted calls is to subscribe to Easyedge, and I don't think I should have to pay for a service to block unwanted/annoyance calls from telebeggars! I am about ready to get rid of my cell phone! I, too, am on the do not call list, and I keep getting these telebegging calls!

I put in a request for insurance information over 2 years ago and I am still getting calls! and when I answer no one is there!!

I received this call, answered, asked for me, I hung up. Had an India accent. Will not do that again. If I don't recognize the number, I don't answer. And yes, I am on the NO CALL LIST.

This number keeps calling my phone. No reply when you answer. Do not want calls.

The only bad thing on this sight is people posting I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST!!!
If you depend on any government run agency to solve your problem you are a lost fool.

Got a call asking for someone whose first name is the same as my wifes maiden name. She hasn't used that name in 35 years. Told the caller to go f--k himself!

It has to be some kind of insurance. I requested insurance quote on the web awhile ago.Ever since then I have been getting calls from everyone it seems.This is one of the numbers that called.
