Just got a call atr 06h32pm and it isn't the first one.  The first one came on last Friday same time same telephone number401-889-9876.  The first time it was speaking in Spanish(a recording)  The second one didn't left any messages.  I'm base in Montreal and I'm with Telus.

i just receive call 5 minute ago... it's a spanish recording.

I got two calls from that number.  I did not answer but I am curious who it is.  I do speak Spanish so next time I will listen

i got a call from taht number, i'm with Fido. One of my friend got it and she's mith telus. We didnt answer, and we thing we bet not to. be careful

Same thing...didn't pick up..apparently scam is spreading?  I have read some of the earlier posts mainly from the east coast, but some branched further to Canada...I am on the West Coast...This must be a nationwide scam.

dec 28 2007 second time in two weeks recieved a spanish recording from this number. WEIRD. Obviously avoid at answering.  If possible. No idea!! ?????

i got the call on my cell, today at 8:36 EST no answer, any one know whats going on..

Received call at 8:39 EST, did not pickup as area code was unrecognized.

Dec 28, 2007 - missed a call from same number at 8:09 pm ET on a Rogers cell. Called back to check who it was and the phone service provider reported that the number is not assigned.

Me and my friend (Canada, Montreal)received a call from this number on the same day( december 27 2007 ) at 19:08 and 21:01...she answered and it was a spanish recording...i didn't have time to pick up. We called the number and it's non existant :S !! Weird....

a little while ago I received a call from this number.
Assuming it was from a friend in Jordan, I answered, only to be met with some spanish drivel. Very sketchy indeed...
