Received a call today, the person calling was unprofessional to say the least.  I took the call and asked to be removed.  He refused and demanded (yes demanded) that I give him a reason why I wouldn't answer their survey.  I eventually hung up when I realized there was nothing that would convince the person to remove my phone number.

I called 1-402-952-4444 from a block phone and got a recorded message that the call was from a Gallup poll interviewer wanting to ask me about taking a survey. It said I could not contact the caller directly but they would be calling me back and this message was just to give information of why the number appeared in my caller ID. It gave a website www.gallup.com to find out more about their organization. I will just contined to ignore their calls.

All of my phones are on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. This is my cell phone that they are calling on! Only their number "4029524444" appears, no name. I do not answer this kind of call. I hope this complaint does not fall on deaf ears.

Almost every business cold calls at one point or another. My doctor's office has follow up calls by a third party. My cable provider sent me several automated voicemails wanting to know how my service is. The charity I give to has a third party who calls. Almost every company has cold callers, and you want to know what else when you sign up for anything you had better read the fine print because your signature authorizes some of these people to sell your information and then it is achieved through a legitimate source and can sometimes get around the no call law. Kevin Trudea people are good at this. So you could be the one allowing people to get around the no call law, so you need to be more alert.

I started getting these calls last week on my mobile even though I'm on the DNC List.  Since they are doing a survey rather than marketing, they are exempt.

I called the toll-free Princeton, NJ number (make them pay) and they transferred me to the Omaha, NE center from which the calls originate.  There, I actually managed to talk to a real person.  Evidently, my mobile phone number was randomly generated to participate in a survey.  Since I never answered the call, the computer kept calling back.

Gallup entered my phone number in their "blocked" list.  That should stop the calls.

By the way, I did get a toll-free number to Omaha, NE as part of the conversation.  I recommend everyone call it to request getting on the blocked phone number list.

How do they get your number ??  I answered the call and went along with it.  I was mislead as to the nature of the survey, FIRST I was made to beleive it was a "Cell Phone" survey, I was asked if I had a landline, if I used my cellphone for business or personal use, I was even asked if I was talking on a cell phone.  Then he started asking me political questions about Obama performance approval and what is the biggest problem the US faces, at that point I terminated the call.

I received multiple calls from this number and they never leave a message. I don't answer unrecognized calls. This comes in on my cell phone and I don't want my minuets used for unsolicited calls.

Hey Glendon, why don't you give me YOUR phone number so I can call YOU and tell you all about MY charities? You wouldn't mind if I did that every day, would you?
