Well I'm not a Wells Fargo customer so I don't know why this Gallup poll is calling over and over.  I don't answer.  Blocked the number.

Got a call from this number, did not answer and they did not leave a voice mail. The truth is that I do not even live in the States, for what I read about gallup and wells fargo, they should not be calling any number in another country which totally makes me think it's a scam.

This is a scam. These slithering cons will stop at nothing to set up shop pretending to be what they're not. They're only after two things and that is attaining your identity and "cleaning house" of your finances. These calls will prevail, having your name on the Do Not Call List is the joke of all jokes; cons will attempt to "invade" our homes like termites but we must be the exterminators and fend off these rancid, idiotic callers. You can never be too careful.

Have received a call from 402-952-4444 just about every evening.  1st we never answer a number we do not recognize. If they leave a message we can call back. We save unwanted numbers including 402 952-4444 to the phone as a contact Noting that it is "Gallup-Do Not Answer."  Then change default ring to "No Ring."  We never hear it and if we notice it we can tell it is someone we do not want to talk to.

Just called my cell phone, during work hours. Asked for me by name. I didn't confirm or deny, I just said, "Who IS this?" Said they were from Gallop, doing a quality poll on my bank (named my bank). Asked if I was interested in doing the poll. I said, "maybe". Said it would take about four minutes, do I have that? I said, "Not really, I'm at work". They said thank you and hung up.

Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

It seems the Gallup organization really, really wants my opinion.  They have called several times in the last few days, and since I have now blocked them they are calling every two minutes.

FYI TO ALL.... companies don't have time to leave messages on all the millions of calls they do or no one would get a timely call. ALSO policies for some companies are that they don't let their employees leave messages due to privacy and HIPAA laws.  Now for a few obvious notations. You do not know the nature of the call because you must be too scared to answer a phone that you paid for the services?  I answer my calls I get so I can find out who it is and so I don't continue to get the same call. FYI they keep calling because no one answered, duh. Thats what everyone does right? So now another FYI who ever is calling you knows the same info about the number from you answering your phone or not and that is that it is a working number. Again answering calls and politely asking why the call and then listening to the reason and then making an educated response such as " I do not want to participate and please place me on a do not call list" and wait patiently for a response because some are required to give a second effort. Just be polite and say no thank you if that is the choice you choose. It takes about a min and a half and saves a lot of time that you get mad basically at yourself even though you think its the callers fault for your lack of phone edicate.  So now something to answer everyones questions some more. GALLUP  does surveys.  For your banks, cell companies,  places you do business at, as well as HOSPITALS you have visited or not as well as surveys for their own business. There business is to help you voice your opinions. Rather than you just complain about things to your friends and family you can now have the opportunity to voice it where the info can make a difference.  So if you don't want the calls answer the phone. Thats what I do and well I have done a survey or two with the company and have kids that work there and thats all thats to it. It's mostly college students trying to work a few hrs around there classes to help you out and you want to treat them with disrespect?  Funny how respect has gone away in the last 40 years.

Answer the phone. Maybe you might find out something so they will stop calling you. Duh! You paid for a phone service. They can't always leave messages due to the nature of the call.  Could be calling on behalf of your bank or hospital.

    Dear Another Person,

I treat callers who intrude into my home via telephone with *slightly* more respect than I would treat a stranger who intrudes into my home physically. My phone, my rules. No one gets respect by default: They have to earn it. Unsolicited callers start out at a deficit.
