- Common Sense replies to ProfessionalSkepticYour bank hired them for your customer service experience. Get mad at your bank.
- Common Sense replies to Bob AlbrechtAnswer the phone and politely listen and find out why then answer however you feel. POLITELY. Then you know and they won't call you back
- Common Sense replies to StopIt!| 1 replyThey could be calling on behalf of your bank or hospital or other business you do business with. Answer and find out. Why are all you afraid to use a service that you paid for? Cell service is a phone service.
- Another Person replies to Sir Bedevere| 1 replyThey aren't solicitors. Look up the word and understand what solicitation is.
- JoeyDee replies to Another Person| 2 repliesWith all the phone scamming going on -- are you under a rock? -- it's reasonable for people to refuse to answer unknown callers. I pay for my phone service and I have the right to use it as I see fit.
Most of the time if you answer a scammer's call you are in trouble for weeks if not months because they will call and call and call and use different spoofed phone numbers and various fake company names and illegitimate tactics to scam you for your hard-earned money.
I feel sorry for legitimate companies like Gallup, (if in fact these are really coming from Gallup) but the average citizen can do nothing to stop the scam calls. The only relief is to stop answering ALL unknown calls. If Gallup wants to be useful, it can put its clout into work with the FTC to get the scammers stopped. - Common Sense replies to Truth SeekerNot a scam. Go learn about the company.
- Sir Bedevere replies to Another PersonI never implied they were solicitors. Learn to read.
I said they are an unsolicited caller, meaning their calls are unsolicited – that is, unrequested and undesired by the recipient – which they are. - Getting BackI Will Start Forwarding These "Unknown" Calls To The White House and The FTC..... LOL

- beckyperson called said they were calling from my bank, and gave the name of my bank
- JonathanCalled me 3 days now on my cell phone, I expect this to continue. I ignore. I am in 206 area code and do not know anyone in 402, wherever that is.
- Caller: don't know
- J. Feeney| 1 replyFake fraud Citibank call
- Caller: Citibank
- Callee2014| 1 replyWow... this number has been doing mega-spamming since at least 2005 if not earlier. Bigtime. I hope people report this, and reference the voluminous number of people they call. I - like many or most - am on a "Do Not Call" list, both Federal and state. I have no business relationship with anyone mentioned here as the "business".
Well, I can dream, but I'd sure love to see our society actually enforce consumer protections! Probably #2 on the new Congress's to-do list, to eviscerate the FTC, EPA, and FCC (except to give away the Internet to the high bidders). [#1 will be the EPA, so it seems.] How's the FTC's war on Spam and the Can-Spam "law" doing, along with the "Do Not Call"? Disgusting...- Caller: "Omaha, NE"
- slim| 1 replyIt was a good call. I won a car. You guys should have done the survey. It was that easy!
- Call type: Survey
- I do use common sense replies to Common SenseBULL!
No one I do business with would call my cell phone - AS THESE SCAMMERS DID - because I have NEVER given ANY of the businesses or banks I do business with my cell number. Stop peddling your scam business by trying to make them sound "legit".
You are obviously tied to the scammers and that makes perfect sense - NOT common sense.
Businesses that do business with someone you have done business with, but not you, CANNOT call you - it's illegal.
Surveys where they end by trying to sell you something are not surveys - they're illegal.
In some places if you have not given a business WRITTEN permission to call you, they can't - it's illegal.
Sweepstakes and lotteries that you have NOT entered personally are ALWAYS scams.
Calls from the "IRS" or "Courts" saying you are going to be arrested are ALWAYS scams.
Cold calls from PC techs saying your computer has a virus are ALWAYS scams.
The list goes on and on.
Maybe we should add that any comments from "CommonSense" should be listed as a scam too. - Another Person replies to J. FeeneyNot a fraud call. Contact your bank and asked them why they hired Gallup to do their customer service surveys.
- Another Person replies to slimThere are idiots all over the place and here shows another. Doing a survey with the company Gallup doesn't win you anything.
- Another Person replies to Callee2014Hey if you use a bank then they may have hired Gallup to do a unbiased customer service survey. If they are calling to do another survey they are not selling anything so just like on the site you placed your numbers on the do not call list it tells you they can call you. They are they to help you voice your opinions in an intelligent way so you can be heard.
- annoyed replies to Freddoesn't work if the CALLER ID IS "UNKNOWN" !!
- OLI'm blocking you Gallop Poll. Why? You figure it out or start another survey.
- Caller: Galoop Poll
