Receiving this annoying call on my Bell Cell offering $3000, what can be done to stop them.

I got a call on my Fido cell from this number, on August 6th. 2010 at about 11:00 am.  im in Torotno.  Couldnt answered and glad i didnt after reading all the posts.

this number called me. didn't answer i dont usually answer when i dont know the number. dont know what the hell this company or whatever it is want. i hope they quit calling.

I just got a call from this number... and as usual, glad I didn't pick up.  I'm with Telus.

just got the call in vancouver.3000 bucks for being a loyal telus client. i said keep the money i'll take 30blowjobs instead.click hang up.

I would like to say that this # has called me about 3 times, but there is a 01 in front of it, calling my cell phone. I only had it for about 3-weeks now.

Me too --- the thing is that if someone recieving one of these calls pressess the numbers they are instructed to in order to receive their ``gift`` it could be one of those scams where they capture data or info on you then suddenly long distance charges start showing up on your phone --- with todays laws you`re probably not protected well enough so could end up responsible for payment or lose the phone !!!! do somethin for the little people HARPER

I got a call too, on Aug 4.  No message left.  Thanks for letting me know it's a scam before I spent precious money and airtime on a wasted call.  Happy weekend!

I got a call from this number Aug 6 @ 2:33 pm pst on my cell.  No message left.

Just got a new cell number...this number came up this morning on it.
Looking at the other posts, I am sure glad that I didn't answer the call  Thanks!

I just got a call from this number 403.709.8686 and didn't answer. Glad I didn't allow them to waste my Bell minutes!

Now about to report it to National Do Not Call Register as the phone that was called is listed.
So I hope they are fined and put out of business.

Got a call from this number. Answered since i'm waiting for a call, and it was a voice message saying I recieved a gift from Bell. To accept press 1. I hung up.

Got the call on my private # mobile phone.
Did not recognize it, did not answer.
Googled the #, & read the comments here.
Decided to check out what happens if I call the #40370986886 from my private landline,
Called the # & got through to an auto message which says:
"You dialled a # which has been disconnected or no longer exists."
Another private numbered Bell customer.

Called this number back and got the message that the number was disconnected or no longer in use!!

My call said that as an Air Canada customer I had won 50,000 air miles and had to press "1" to accept.  I just returned from a flight out west so I was fooled and pressed the number.  Instantly connected to a guy telling me I had "won a trip" so I hung up.

got that call a few times it is a scam they want to use your cell number to make long distance call , and that is wath you do when you press 1, you give them permission to use your cell number. don't answer.

Got the call from that number...said I was a preferred Air Transat customer and that I have won a prize, to press "1" to accept it.

I'm in Montreal and have never used Air Transat.

Fun fun fun...
