I called the 800 number back and a lady answered the phone, i told her about the message left on my phone, then she asked me if i had a lot of credit cards with high interest rates.  I told her i have none and she told me to disregard the call.  I asked her if they were a telemarketing company and she said no they were an enrollment company she was quick to get off the phone after that like i was on to them or something.  Sounds kinda fishy to me

9:28 AM got a call from this number on my cell phone.  Receiving phone calls like this really chap my back side Grrrr....

Recorded speech from "Rick Johnson" apologizing for taking so to get back to me regarding "that" credit card program we talked about.  You know the one that can lower your interest rate from...  – I hung up at this point.

Always type the unknown number in search before accepting any calls or texts. You never know these days.

This is a mortgage broker. Someone will be hurt by this type of call's.  DO NOT RETURN HIS CALL..............................

I got the same message....at work!  I hit one to tell them to take me off their calling list.

When I hit one it brought me to a woman.  As soon as I asked her if she could take me off their calling list, she said "All you have to do is don't pick up on the next call", Then CLICK, she hangs up.

I bet she doesn't go to church.  Just a hunch ;)

Got a voice mail on my cell phone, has to be random, probably telemarketing. I have not added my cell phone to the National Do Not Call Registry yet.  Unwanted calls are becoming more of a plague recently. I am so grateful for Caller ID. I never answer Unknown Caller or Unknown Number calls. Looks like eventually these people would go and find a real job.

Same message this morning... Hey guys, this is Madison Smith. Spoke with you last week about consolidating your bills and I have a solution for you. We have a program that can lower you monthly interest rates and cut your payment in half. This will be my last courtsey call. Call me back today. 800-310-2148.

I have never talked to a Madison Smith, contacted anyone about my bills and this is a business line... Interesting!

Just got this call at work and wondered - never picked up so know I know NOT too.

Had a half a voicemail from Johnathon. Evidently he is to [***] to wait for the voicemail to beep before launching into his spiel. That is really impressive. I am going to do that next time I get my friend's voicemail. Same number, Same deal

I just got the exact same message from Madison Smith.

I got a "call" on my ITouch through my TextFree account from this phone number! Wow!  Thanks to all of you that have posted I know that it was a bull phishing scam!

I got that same call on June 10th on my cell phone of all places. It was a live person and they gave me the same song and dance about calling me back.


I called em names my momma would be ashamed of me about.

I couldnt understand what the name of the company was.

Beep             Beep  wrong area code now. now why would i call back.

Got a message this morning----"Sorry I missed your call last week, but yes, I can help you lower your credit card payments and the interest rate"........I never called anyone and I don't need help with my credit card payments/interest rate.  Gave me a toll free # to call back, which I did not call.

They still calling  with the same message but have changed their 800 number to 800-310-9758..

Recorded message asking me if I had high interest rate credit cards that I was interested in consolidating.  Asked me to press #1.  I did so and was connected to "Sandy".  She asked my name and if I had high interest credit card debt.  When I said "no" she immediately hung up on me.  Why are [***] like these allowed to make unsolicited, unwanted phone calls??

Yes, I've tried calling them back an playing along to find out who they really are.  When I asked which credit card company they were with they hung up.  Received a call a couple days later in which I played along to get further and then when they said they needed my social security number to access my info I knew they were phishing.  A third time they called me and said they were calling me about my overdue car loan with capital one to arranfge payment, of course I don't have a car loan with capital one.  The next time they were Bank of America calling about fraud on my account.  

Not always the same number, but always the same people.  Ask them a lot of questions and they will hang up.  Then take the time to report them to the FCC.

I've been calling them all day and messing with them!!! This has been so fun! Instead of them calling me I'm calling them and really screwing with there time and money!! They are a dept company... And the first thing she said is they were non- for profit...LOL That is impossible...What a bunch of liars, but I keep asking them if I get a disscount for farting??? They keep hanging up it's so funny!!! WOOOO I love it
