i just received a call from this number claiming he was from Colorado ST. university's Christan outreach program, asking me to make a donation. Then he says hes in a town about one hour from my house, IN OREGON. Then this dude wants to meet up with me so we can further "discuss" my donation. Im tired of this stuff, i pick up the phone thinking its business, but no. Its a guy trying to scam me. Thank you world for being so messed up.

I received a call from a male voice stating that we had talked previously and he wanted to continue talking about lowering interest rates and payments. I have never spoken to this man or anyone else about such things. I have a great interest rate and payment amount on my credit cards. I would like it if they would stop calling me.

I keep getting the same calls where a guy says he is sorry for not getting back to me earlier.  When you speak to the guy you then realize that it's a recording and not a live call.  When I call back it's another recording saying if you want to not receive these calls anymore press 1.  I pressed one and we'll have to see if my number is sold to someone else.  What a bunch of crap these guys are.  Mess with them any way that you can.

I received a missed call from this number, with no voice message. Not recognizing the missed call number, I did a reverse search on whitepages...its coming from Montana. Not having any relations (family or friend) from there I googles the number and found this webpage. Nice to see feedback.

The message was received on my cell phone, and I just got this new number a little over a year ago. Previously I would have debt collectors calling me regarding another person. I'm assuming someone either had my number previously or just gave the number out thinking it was fake. Had not received a phone call in quite sometime. Thanks for all the reports and feedback!

I got more or less the same call as described in the postings - Hey, this is so-and-so "returning my call" about lowering my interest rates.  Message was pre-recorded.  They did not ask or reference me by name.  At the end of the message, I was given toll free number to call.  Called on my cell.  Obviously another gang not concerned about the other groups who have done this and face jail time.  A shame.

I literally JUST got a call from this "Madison Smith" person. I'm going to do some snooping around, but so far I was told that their name is, "Debt Relief". I asked if they had a URL...and she said...oh I can give you a list of charities we work with. I interrupted her...I said, "You didn't answer my question." She said something to the fact that they don't have a website. I said, "You're kidding me...it's 2010 and you guys have a sophisticated system where you call someone and an auto message plays, but you don't have a website. RIIIIIIIIGHT...

Credit card rate scam to a 12 year old's new cell phone.

So, I was watching a movie and this unknown number shows up on my phone. (406-351-4172), so of course I didn't answer it. Anyways, the caller left a voice mail. I only got half of one and he said something about lowering my interest rates and press one to talk to him. Before I had actually checked the voice message I tried calling back but it said that my call couldn't be completed. This is the second time this [***] has called since I got my phone, it's stupid. And I don't need my interest rates lowered, I'm only 16! What the hell, man.

Got the same call from this number.

i recieved a call from this person and they started with the word"sorry i'm late."i then just hung up.

I got a ring from this number this morning. Did not answer. No message.

The message they leave has to be pre-recorded because due to the length of my voicemail message, it started halfway through right where she says" lower your interest rates...this is the last courtesy call" (I can only hope she's not bluffing and they don't call back)  The number registered as a Montana number on my caller id (406-351-4172) although she told me to call (800-310-9758).  Such a scam....

Got a message at 3:05 PM 6/22/10, and I'm on DNC list.

Saw this number come up on my caller ID at work..didn't answer, they didn't leave a message.

Funny I never talked to them EVER! And look at these dirty tactics they use for me to phone them:

We spoke last week on the phone about possibly trying the loan interest rates in those monthly payments on your credit card so I want to let you know that I did look into it and we do have a program here at I come possible. Lowest interest rates to as low as 1.5% and maybe cos monthly payment in half and since you are only making the minimum payments that should be a great opportunity here for you. This will be my last courtesy call and make so please give me a call today at 1(800) 310-9758 again. That's, toll free, and my number here is 1(800) 310-9758.

I answered and it was a pre-recorded message that was generic that said they were calling me about a deal they had already discussed with my family. I'm a single person and I haven't called them. At the end of the message it asked me to "Press 1" if I wanted to talk to him in person. I just hung up. This is probably about the 4th call I've got from them.
