Wow...look at the number of recent entries.  Have called my cell today @ 11:09 EST, March 4 and March 1.  Not answered and no message.  Maybe they are reading these entries and getting off.  Just guessing it is scum.

Seems to me that the NSA could put a stop to this type of scamming since the monitor all calls, you'd think they would see the scammers, locate and jail them.  To me the NSA, the Government, the DO NOT CALL list is just another scam brought to you by a government.  Possible they are financing the scammers with food stamps, welfare, and other incentives to stay home and try to steal more from the taxpayers.  You do know the owners of telephones pay a fee every month to give free phones to so many and many of those have anywhere from 3 to 30 phones to use at no cost to them !   Sorry #@%$ government entities, entities that could do a lot better than allow so much theft and aggravation from the taxpaying people of America

They called me 10 minutes ago on my Verizon cell. Then they called my wife on her Verizon cell 5 minutes later. How did they know??

Recorded message that promises "trip to a dream vacation" and gives you a special code to punch in.  No company name is given, and keypad response is ignored.  Complained to FTC.

this number calls my cell phone and only 5 people in the world has my cell phone #. I try to call back to tell them take me off the freakin' list but there is no answer.

They can put a man on the moon and send space crafts up and take pictures of Mars so why the hell can't the FCC stop these calls? The "Do Not Call Registry" is a joke because I have reported this number to them several times within the last 6-8 months.

This call is definitely being spoofed.  Telemarketers can take any phone number they like and make it appear on your caller ID from the phone system they are using.  There is nothing that telephone companies can do to prevent these phone calls from being received.  Believe me, if there was something the phone company could do to prevent these calls from being completed we would.  The amount of calls and emails we receive daily when situations like this happen are astronomical.  We would LOVE to be able to put a stop to it as we are all consumers as well.  We also experience these situations in our own lives.  We are just as irritated when we receive them.  

the only problem with the call blocking feature on the iPhones and other smart phones is that if the evil number call you they just go straight to voicemail which flags in their system that the number is a real number and therefore can leave you open to other types of scams .
calling your carrier and asking them to block evil numbers for you is a better solution , and also helps people without blocking features :)

received a call, rang only half a full ring, I am on the do not call list so this is a violation of that premise.

So remove the oldest numbers to make way for the new ones.
I've never had a problem - once I block them they seem to stop bothering me.

Got call from this number.  Missed the call.  When I redailed the number, it said it was not a working number.

I am sick of these people calling me........and they called in my cell phone no less........Thank god I do not use voicemail......Screw these people

Thank you for your post. I had a feeling this would be trouble. I'm going to block this number. They never left a message and thank goodness I never called back.

I have gotten several calls from this number to my cell phone over the last week.  How do I get them stopped?
