I was searching for a car quote and put my info on a site for email ONLY. With in three minutes I received a phone call from a blocked number then immediatley after this number 408-228-0163 phoned me. Very irritating!!!

i was also doing car lookups on line, first i got a blocked call then this number came up;  i didn't answer it, but did a reverse look up online and found that others have had problems with this number and they all seemed to be doing some sort of auto look up online;  i still don't know "who" it is, i tried to call back but it was busy....

The same exact thing happened to me, right after I entered my information on Dealernet.com

Same.  Signed up for a quote from Kelly Blue Book and got a phone call less than 2 minutes later.

They're still at it - a year later.

yea i typed it into some car site sadly right before  i went to bed at 4 am

asked for a car quote, minutes later received a cell call from calf number 408-228-0163 no one there and then minutes later the same call came with no one there-

Unwanted calls at 2am. Shows private and this number. Only gives a busy tone when you call it back.

Within 5 minutes of requesting a quote on a 2009 Munano the phone began ringing after 11:00, p.m.

Received a call from a restricted number at 7:30 AM, on my cell phone, and another about two minutes later from 408-228-0163. They did not stay on the line long enough for me to answer either time. I have been researching used cars online.

first call said withheld the 2nd was 408 number but hung up.  I had been looking at new cars on web.

Yup, just happened to me as well. I signed up for a car quote on InvoiceDealers.com and then got the same round of calls as everyone else below. It concerns me that they're calling this late at night with no regard.

same thing happened to me too!  i registered with SecretAuotPrice.  I see a lot of people have experienced same incidents for the same reason, but are they safe calls?

Signed up for info from a local dealership. Got a restricted call, but they hung up. Then, I got a second call with the 408 number, but nobody was there.

This exact same thing happened to me moments ago.  I just annoyed that if this is a valid # why didn't I get a response from the company when I said hello.

Same here.  I filled out a form about a price of a truck.
1st call restricted within 5 mins.  Second call from 408 number. No answer from either call when picked up.

Same thing as reported below.  Two minutes after requesting a quote from CarsBelowInvoice.com.  They called at 10:30pm.  First call was RESTRICTED, second call was from 408-228-0163.

First it was restricted, then from 408-228-0163, niether one would say anything. I had just signed up at invoicedealers.com. It might be an automatic dialer to test the phone #
