Same thing happened to me!!! What is this it is a little scary!!! Maybe we should inform the police!!!!

I got a call from this number at 1:33am.  Whats going on?  The first call came from Private at 1:13am then this call.  Guess I didnt want to sleep anyway.

Got both of the same calls after searching online for lease information on a Kia.

same thing here....lol.  I remember reading on the registration site that you must have a "valid" phone number and email address.  This may be an automatic verification call to see if the number you gave actually works.  IMO

Same as the callers previously. The first call was private, and then about 5 minutes later this number showed up.

I reveived the same two calls. What ia going on? Is this a legit sight or will I get a bunch of emails also. Was there ever a chance of phone numbers being stolen?

I put in a search on www.beepbeep.com for a new vehicle.  It required that I put in my phone number and within 2 minutes I received a Restricted phone call.  Then 2 minutes later I received a call from 408-228-0163.  I tried to call it back but it wouldn't let me.  This is REALLY aggrivating and UNWANTED!!

I got the same calls at 9:30 & 9:32 after I registered at Womencarbuying.com.  Very strange......glad I didn't answer the calls.

I received a restricted phone call then in a few minutes later I received a phone call from 408.228.0163.

Just after I signed up on MSN auto for a dealer quote.  Somehow I woul dhave thought that reputable sites like MSN auto and Yahoo Auto wouldn't have this sort of thing happen

I first received a restricted call, then one from this number 408-228-0163.  Funy, but it came just after I registered for a quote from cars.com

I will not do that again.

Same here. Website was SmartAutoSavings.com. Within less than a minute my cell phone rang. Private number came up . I didn't answer. 3 mins. later 408-228-0163 called. Didn't answer it either, being I didn't recognize the number. Website asked for best way to be contacted. I responded with my email address. That is what those people should have done. Don't be calling my cell phone.

I recieved a call from 408-228-0163 not long after I inquired about a used truck. My question is, How the hell did they get my number if I didn't give it to them?

God, this is so aggravating to get calls like this, I'm soooooo glad that there is a sounding board. :)
