I had the same thing, i went to localcarprices.com and recieved 2 phone calls 1st one was private call and the next was the phone number 408-228-0163

same thing happened to me after viewing capital one site about a car loan

same happened here, but i have never applied for the car loan, i signed up with a website where i could sell my car off of, but never continued with it so im not sure what the name of the website is.  one private and one with eith 408

as soon as I answered they hung up

This is such B.S. Why would they call twice. Especially since they don't even say anything on their end. How stupid!

SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME, I received this call soon after I created an account with CarsBelowInvoice.com. First call came as Restricted. A few minutes later my phone rang again, and this time I saw  408-228-0163.

should I be worried that there is something fishy about this information I put on the web for a possible used car on usedcars.com or am I just over reacting?

Same thing happened to me. I was looking for a new car... and i wanted to know what my car now would be worth.. the website force me to put a number down... and then told me they could not tell me any price for my car...
I received a private caller in which they let it ring until my voice mail picked up and then the 408 228 0163 called let it ring once... and then hung up... I barely could look at my phone to see the number before the hung up.
This company definately does not have my business after a late night call with out leaving a message or allowing me the time to pick up!!

same thing happened to me i signed up for carsbelowinvoice.com, and an person was im'ing me wanting me to fill out anothe application and more information.  I told them nevermind that it seemed a little shady to me and then a few minutes later i got a call from a restricted number then from 408-228-0163, I didn't anwser but when i called it back to see who it was it said all circuits are busy, so i'm very glad that i found this website. seems a little shady to me

Same thing here. I got an email from these folks:  I bet they're related.

I'm going to let them know what I think.
