No one is there when I answer?

We've just got a call from this number,on a Saturday afternoon. The person said it's a phone poll. Wished we didn't picked it up.

Caller ID says call is from PNC Bank. Wanted me to verify social security number b/c my name was listed with and without the middle initial. Told them they would have to speak to wife as she handled all banking matters & she was not available. The man said he would call at another time!

call to my cell from this number, city ID says it's pittsburg (duh, 412), no one there when I pick up.  Nothing to indicate PNC, but I am a PNC customer, so am writing.

Today, I got a call from 412-803-9151... The caller ID said PNC Bank... They are NOT from the bank but trying to get your account information & get funds out from your a/c... Can I report them to a govt agency?

They called me too !  I won 5 thousand dollars.  I just picked up the money this morning and now I'm going shopping.  Woohoo !!!  I'm going to Disneyland !

I got a call from this number stating they are from PNC asking if I was satisfied with the bank services. They knew from which branch of PNC I opened my bank account which is strange. Asking if I had a credit card, etc. I questioned the authenticity of the call asking how I could be sure twas them; they told me call some weird 888 no. I knew it was a phoney and hung up. Why would PNC give our bank details to strangers....?

I keep getting calls from this # too.  They claim to be from PNC and they ask if they can help me in any way.  I told him about issues I had with my account like not getting reimbursed for ATM fees and he said its not his dept.  He then went on to say he can do a balance transfer from another card so I can get a lower interest rate.  Seems shady to me, if it was important they would leave a message with a call back #.

They call 5 times a week or more. They never left any message. Caller ID says PNC. I will put this number on my blocked list.

My husband told me that they had called looking for me on 6-16-10 and they said they would call back since I wasn't home. I looked at the number and then searched for it and found this site. I called my local branch and explained what happened and they checked my account and everything is fine. This is a SCAM! Don't give out any information.

if it is true that 412-803-9151 is in fact pnc,then they must be in trouble financialy. this same thing happened to me when it used to be national city bank. they need to come up with cash to pay their C.E.O's the big money for their party's and boats. I guess I'll have to turn my ringer off till they go out of business too.They must be partying with Verizon C.E.O's to get away with this.it's to bad that they let all our industry move to China and put us all out of work. pretty soon they won't have no more money to play with.     P.S.          is there anything left that's made in the good old USA anymore. I couldn't find too many car parts left made in our country anymore.

I am starting to get calls from this number - it only says Pittsburgh, PA with no message.  So sick of unsolicited calls!!!!

We received this call also, asking for me (the wife).  Husband answered first when I wasn't available.  They said it was a "courtesy call".  We have accounts, but no loans with PNC and also going thru bankruptcy, so no one is going to offer us loans right now.  Anyway, he hung up.  I was concerned b/c we had had our identities stolen before, but before I could do anything, spouse called them back since it's a joint acct.  He wanted to add a phone number to the acct, and the guy started asking for social and stuff.  I took the phone and asked this person why he was calling-said it was a general call to see "how we were using their services".  I am very concerned that this person, who really was not identified has spouse's social!  I am going to check this out more.

I just got a phone call from this number and seeing these posts freaked me out. I called PNC and gave them the phone number and they said it IS PNC and they are doing telemarketing/surveys.  So I wouldn't worry and if it makes you feel better just call you bank to confirm.  But as always, NEVER confirm any information or give out any personal information NEVER.

Just rec'd another repeated call from the MORONS at this number.  Same routine: Call at all hours, caller ID says "PNC Bank", I never answer.  Inconsiderate b*stards don't even have the common courtesy to leave a message.  If it is a genuine call from PNC Bank, they know my address to send any info; so this is obviously some sort of harassing scam.  I'm on the Do Not Call list as well, but apparently these a**holes don't obey the same laws we do.  I tell everybody I know to never do business with either PNC Bank or Bank of America.  IDIOTS...

The DNC list applies to telmarketing sales calls.... If you are a customer of a business then they can call you. If you would not like to be contacted by a company you do business with then you should call the company and ask to be placed on their dnc list. They are probably calling you to inform you of things that you would find useful and are probabluy important info but you are too stuck in your ways to listen. You probably would benifit from the conversation. Great outlook on these calls. I bet you have a very happy household....NOT!!!!!!!

Calls me several times a week but I do not answer.

I called my PNC bank to verify that a representative DID call me and they were able to verify that I was called and she gave me the name of the rep which was the name I was given, and the time he called, which was true..  So, this number, 412-803-9151, was a true call from PNC bank.
