I confirmed with PNC that 4128039151 is one of their numbers. The woman said it's their sales department and they are undoubtedly trying to sell you something.  I find it a bad business practice to not at least leave a message.

412-803-9151 is NOT from PNC Bank as Sabrina2011 claims. I called PNC and they said that they do not use that number for ANYTHING as it is NOT THEIRS!!! The caller ID said PNC Bank. They are NOT from the bank but trying to get your account information and get funds out from your account! DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!!

Get a call from this number. Said they were doing a courtesy call. Thanking me for my business .  She said we needed to up date info. I know right away it was a scam.  Told her we were just to the bank and updated our info..She hung up

Has anyone picked up and found out what they want? That should settle the argument over whether it's actually PNC calling. If they ask for information, it's a scam.  Someone earlier said it was "telemarketing gibberish," but I don't know if that means a PNC sales call or someone else pretending to be PNC. I get a legitimate call from PNC about twice a year asking me to schedule an appointment to come in and discuss "how to make the most" of my accounts, but when I say I already have a representative, they apologize politely and go away. So if these people are harassing you, it's probably someone spoofing PNC's number.

I too received a call from this number with caller ID showing PNC. I just got off the phone with my branch and they assured me it is a legitimate call. Unless they are covering for a breach in their computer system I guess the call is okay but I still will not discuss my banking details over the phone if they call again!!

After getting a call from this number, I called PNC customer service, 888-762-2265. They said the number is legitimate. The woman was very professional and polite, and took "no" for an answer when I said I wasn't interested going over investment options at this time.

412-803-9151 is  scam....they call me and want my husband's bank information.

I spoke to them today and they did not ask me for any personal information.  The said they were from 888PNC and I'm sure that is some company PNC has hired to get account holders in their door so they can sell them their products.  I received a call like this about two years ago.  Probably not scammers but definitely telemarketers that are taking advantage of an existing relationship with PNC to call you.

Even so, they are required to stop calling when told to do so, otherwise they are violating the law and can also be sued.

412-803-9151 does belong to PNC. I got a call the other day, I told them I had just been in the bank and they said OK, but I took that # into the bank and the mgr  called to make sure. So it is from PNC but you should not ever give your account # out over the phone unless you call them. They know your account # and will not ask for it.   4-4-2017

I was called from 412-803-9151 around 10:00 a.m. today.   Somehow, they garbled my first name, twice, so it didn't feel right to me.  Too, there would be no reason for the company to call me unless there was a problem with my account and they certainly would be clear as to who they were calling.  I do have an account with PNC.   I attempted to call for "security,  first.  Automated answering didn't understand "security" so transferred me to "consultant,"  which landed me at the downtown branch of PNC.   When I told him my story, we spent five or so minutes looking at the account while he was trying to explain to me why PNC calls their customers.  He just didn't get it so I called the number on the back of my card which landed me right back to automation again and the possibility of going to a c/s/r locally.   There is no "security" but there is loss prevention/lost or stolen card so asked for that.   The agent listened carefully, this time, and while doing so was checking my account (s).   It was a Pittsburgh telephone number but although the telephone ID said it was PNC, it was not...no one had attempted to call me so a report was filed about the telephone number.   According to my findings, it is NOT a PNC telephone number.  He filed a report while we talked about society and technology as it is today.

Got a call from 412-803-9151 again, caller ID was PNC Bank. Didn't answer, but this is happening too often with nothing being done. I would like to answer and tell them go f*** off, but do not want to reveal my number as being an active one.

caller stated he was from pnc bank but had a very thick foreign accent. when i told him to stay on the line so i could record our conversation he hung up
