Not so fast!

Scammers SPOOF real phone numbers sometimes. They are phishing if they ask for ANY personal info, even your first name. Hang up and contact the bank directly to see if it's legit!

412-803-9115 - definitely PNC bank - saying they want to manage my 401k  - block them and done with them.

Scammer call. Did not answer. If they really are PNC, not  sure why they called me as I am not one of their customers.

I havent picked up, fig, if imp, they will leave a message,too many scams now adays.

This call is actually from PNC Bank. Periodically, relationship consultants/customer service reps will call clients to go over & review your accounts, see if you are interested in additional financial services, or see if you would like to schedule a financial review in the local branch -- Basically a sales call, but not spam.

Says PNC but I'm not taking the bait, I only answer names and numbers I know.
Try harder scammers.

Yes, it's PNC Bank.  Just a "customer care" call (which is a normal marketing procedure) to advise you to visit your local bank and learn about services you may not be using.  Did not ask for any information from me and said my local bank would answer any questions I have.  My local bank confirmed that such calls are made, although they never know who gets called or when it happens.  Too bad legitimate businesses have to suffer from all the SCAMMER CALLS we all deal with every day, but I will continue to assume all calls are bogus until I verify their credentials.

They should not be asking for information other than is Mrs. Jane Doe available and then asking which Branch you would like to go into for an account checkup.

This is PNC Bank and they are calling to have you go to a local branch to have your account information reviewed to help reduce/eliminate service charges.  They will set up an appointment but will not ask for any personal information.

Someone speaking ebonics called from 412-803-9151 said it was PNC Bank. I told them to go hell, I don't talk to scammers. Told him PNC does not call so late.

Caller said they were from PNC Bank about an Annual Account review where I should setup an appointment to discuss my account with a PNC rep between 11/16/16 and 11/28/16.  I told her that I had never heard of this before and I have been with the bank since 2011.  I schedule a meeting for 11/18/16 @ 11am.  I will attend the meeting and keep everyone posted.

To quote you - "Too bad legitimate businesses have to suffer from all the SCAMMER CALLS we all deal with every day, " - are you serious?  If they didn't want ti "suffer", they would have "PNC Bank" show up in the caller ID, but it shows "Not Available". If they didn't want to "suffer", they would leave a voice mail message with a call-back number.  If they don't want to "suffer", they need to act like professionals, not just like the SCAMMERS.

It actually is PNC calling. I called their main # & told them what # had called me. I was then connected with the actual person (or dept, anyway) who had tried to call me.  I told them that the times I've answered the phone with that caller ID, no one's there. The rep I spoke with apologized profusely for that. She said the reason they called is that they are offering their "preferred customers a financial check-up" and that's why they were calling. Told 'em I didn't need that & therefore didn't need to keep receiving their calls. I'll post here again if I get any more calls.

Called claiming to be from PNC and knew my first name. But when I called PNC directly they had no record of such a call being placed. Was told not to give out any info.

The I'd screen said Inc calling. How dare this scumbag poses as one bank from.once

Well, I too, called PNC Bank and they told me they did NOT call me from that number. That number is FRAUDULENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
