Received a call. Went through to voicemail. They did not leave a message. I have an account at PNC. So I have no reason to doubt it was someone from PNC, since others are saying that Caller ID had PNC bank on it.

About week ago I have linked my PNC Bank  checking account with Pay-Pal.
Phone calls started today, Saturday !!!
I don`t answer, they don`t leave message. So annoying !!!
No one ever called me from PNC before, I have account with them for years and years, so it must be Pay-Pal connection.
Next time I will answer and asked for person`s home phone number so I can call back.

I received many phone calls from this number also, do I need to be concerned? I gave out my social.

In the past 2 weeks, I have received numerous calls from this number. Judging from the dates on the commentaries here (last one June, 2013) this may be a telemarketing company who has purchased the number.  I never answered any of their calls, but did receive voice mails selling tile cleaning and another carpet cleaning (I think.)  Three days ago, I got a call at 7:55 am. No one has ever called me that early unless it was an emergency. Whoever owns this number shows Pittsburgh, PA in the caller ID and I've gotten 7 calls from them in the last 8 days.

The FCC "do not call list" is a farce.  It is comparable to leaving a message on a non-working telephone.

The FCC has the power to stop the telemarketing harrassments, but won't.  Could that be that government scratces the backs of business and refuses to step on their toes?  The irony in telemarketing calls is this:
John Q. Customer pays the telephone company for phone services. I haven't seen it anywhere, that entitles telemarketers to ring your phones all day log, sun up to sun down. Come on FCC, do your job and stop these marketing invasions into our homes via the telephone that we pay for.

Called several times. Today I answered. Said from PNC bank and since I've been a customer since 1983 they were inviting me to come in and speak to them about my accounts. Told them to check their records and stop calling me since I do not have a PNC account!

I'm getting calls from 412-803-9151.ID caller reads PNC Bank. I answered and it was a man in hesitant voice saying it was PNC Bank looking for someone (my name). I said, "I'll call you back" and hang up. Contacted PNC Bank they said the number is theirs but they did not call. They filled a report of the incident. They definitely are not calling from that number. It's someone using the number, possibly a fraud. If you get a call, do not give out personal identifiable information; instead, call the bank to report it.

Got a call from this number today. Did not answer but caller ID said PNC Bank.

Got a call from this number about 5 mins ago. The number called is actually a fake number through an app so IDK how they got the number. I didn't answer.

I received a call today from 412-803-9151, PNC Bank on the caller ID, no message.  I bank at PNC, so I called the 1-888 number on the back of my debit card to see what was going on.

The customer service rep told me no one called me today about any of my accounts or my credit card.  She said any calls from PNC usually come from their 1-800 number, and they always try to leave a message.  Also, they will note your account with a reason why they tried to contact you, and if they were successful.

She took the number down, and forwarded it to their CyberFraud/Fraud division.

Called but left no message.

I've reported them to PNC also, because they called me. The same number 412-803-9151

PNC Bank came up in caller id. First part of msg was garbled then there was just dead air. I've no accounts at this bank so I'm not returning the call.

They called & left no VM. I called PNC & one person said no one called - they transferred me to the fraud department & they had a record of someone calling me about questionable activity on my acct.

Got a call around 7:30PM caller said he was from PNC customer care and wanted to obtain some personal information. I immediately told him that PNC does not make calls like this and hung up. This must be investigated and stopped.PNC???

Do not recognize this number for PNC Bank

Don't know why they are calling me in Maryland

Can someone tell me why they're calling?  My caller ID says "PNC Bank".  They never leave a message.

This number called a little while ago. I answered since PNC Bank was the caller ID & because we all have PNC accounts in my family. No one responded to my 2 or 3 "hello's". I then called PNC directly & she of course couldn't tell me anything about my sons' accounts specifically, but did say she thought it might've been a spam call b/c she couldn't find that phone number in their system.
