Another call from Portfolio Recovery. They never leave a message and I never answer when they call.

Receive calls daily from company Portfolio Recovery from various phone numbers.  Either the person who had my landline number previously has debts they are trying to contact and recovery or these calls are spam, scams, soliciting etc.  I do not answer calls from numbers I do not recognize or company caller ID's I do not have business with.  Calls at least 1 x daily from the following numbers in the last week.  412-847-5582, 205-623-2948, 404-865-3247,205-484-0134

These scum-bags are relentless!  They call me at least twice a day on my land-line with a call-blocker, but I can still see them in my caller ID logs.  I've had my number for 35 years, and have never had a past-due debt that they could possibly claim.  They are criminals.  It's as simple as that.

Guess it is time to get busy reading and learning then taking this problem into my own hands and making the calls stop!!!!!

I've received two calls from PRA this week. I blocked the numbers.

I followed Big A's advice and sued Mountain Lion Acquisitions/East Coast Financial. They settled out of court due to the pandemic. The case would've dragged on for years. I also reported them to the Mass AG. I filed a police report against them, too. They will regret the day they called me.
