I had applied for a payday loan online but was denied. Since then I have been receiving calls from this number. After I kept telling them to stop calling I now all of a sudden receive a call that the Sheriffs Department is coming in 45 minutes to arrest me over a pay day loan that doesn't exist by the way. I don't have any loans out and they are trying to scam people. Telling me they need my attorney's information to forward some legal documents etc. I told the lady I am looking at the complaints against you online right now, why are you all trying to scam people and she hung up. I hope this will at least end the phone calls!

Thank you for your post I am really impressed how this kind of people think and try to manipulate, the same guy called to my cell, to my work to my home, I am really tired of this situation, I went to the police and gave to them a report, this guy have my personal information. Hope this stop soon.

Got a call from these idiots today..  Someone has filed legal action against me...  Same heavy Indian accent..  I did apply for a payday loan last week so I have a good idea who is selling this info.   If anyone else recently applied for a payday loan please email me and let me know which site you used.. I got a phone call from 215-295-5685 and they told me that there is a legal matter against my name and social security number.  When I asked them what the legal matter was they hung up.

This joker named Sylvester called my work phone number and left a very threatening message that I better have my attorney call him back or else and he wished me good luck if I ignored him.  I don't know how he got my work number to begin with.  He did not identify his company, just some made up name and he spoke in a very thick accent.  Going to report this to the FCC.

You can always tell when the scammers are from out of the country.  In the ol' USA, debt is not a police matter.  Don't worry; no one planning to serve you would call first; why, you might take a powder and then what would the poor ol' po-po do?  Scammer, and don't bother to call back.  This is nothing but the old BS as found on the BI website:

Received and still receiving numerous call from this company at work and on cell phone, threatening lawsuit for wire fraud and theft on Company called Cash advance USA. I never took a loan out. I read via google someone had money taken out of their account. Please stop these people. The Person that left the message sounded like name was Charles something. Very hard to understand.The person threatened good luck if I don't return call and when I did call back, was told I will be arrested at place of work. When I questioned him, he hung up and I was unable to get through. I do have a coupe payday loans out, but not from Cashadvance USA

•Contact your creditor. If the debt is legitimate – but you think the collector may not be – contact your creditor about the calls. Share the information you have about the suspicious calls and find out who, if anyone, the creditor has authorized to collect the debt.
•Report the call. Contact the FTC and your state Attorney General's office with information about suspicious callers. Many states have their own debt collection laws in addition to the federal FDCPA. Your Attorney General's office can help you determine your rights under your state's law.

Don't no who these people are but they are extremely rude and need to quit calling

Called my cell phone I did not answer but googled the number as I was reading about the scam they called my office. I informed the young man That I had already looked up the number and that I knew it was a scam and to stop calling, I also told him if he could my office again I was going to report him to the local authority. That shut him up and he hasnt called back

This number called this morning and said thay had a cass on my ss# and that was a lie stop this compny from calling pepole this is bull [***] that thay can just call.

This number called my WORK... There is another Ashley here and believed that they were speaking to me.  It was my co-worker, and they told her that I have charges pending against me for IDENTITY THEFT... and gave her the LAST FOUR OF MY SOCIAL!  

I have called the number probably 15 times this morning, the first time was answering with a rude "can I help you?" when I IMMEDIATELY started telling the situation, I was hung up on.  after another 14 times of calling, another answer and I told the guy I was hung up on and he asked my name, told him the first name... he hangs up again...

did a reverse number look up and it says "HIGH SCAM WATCH"

This # just called me and even my work telling to call them back asap.i never call them back untik my manager spoke to me that they keep calling in my work.its bad coz i was so scared and shame. When i call them back they the police is coming to arrest mw with paper stating why i am under arrest then if i dont pay them for a loan i never get from them about $800. I ask what company they said cash advance usa with many branch.. I was so scared i cant even think about it until i told the lady im not going to pay anything until they show me the paper and told them im going to wait for the police and put me in jail then she hung up.now i know its a scam.they should be prosecuted.

Friday June 21st received a call from 415 295-5685 they left a message they also called my work about a legal matter I called back and left a message at approximately 11 a.m. they called me back about a payday loan gave me a number to call it was the same number to Kenneth Webster I called that number spoke with a woman named michelle she Mr Webster was in a meeting  she said that I was going to be arrested and have been contacted by the police  but I have not about a payday loan with threatening me also I am I tried to explain to her that I did not have a payday loan besides the current one I just took out a couple days ago  she got very irritated with me and hung up on me I asked her once again before she hung up not call my work again  if you need to get ahold of me you can call my phone number, She said whatever and then hung up om me. this was at 11:47 a.m. on June 21,2o13

Pure scam. They called me at work and on my cel phone and left me a vm saying if I don't call them back all they can do is wish me good luck. I called them back and told them they need to stop calling me. The lady who answered the phone hung up on me. I tried calling them again and I think they blocked me. I get a beep sound and doesn't go through. Pieces of garbage.....

called and said this was a legal department calling, advised him that they tried this once and if they continue to call me i will be filing a suit against them

These people are scam artist I told them to send me the courts stating that they deposit money into my account.everytime they call I gota trick for them im reporting them to the ftc and the attorny general.

Said I was being sued and gave me a phony BAR number posing as an attorney. What a joke. Anyone that knows basic law will avoid such tatctics.
