Read my post dated July 4th. Tell them the next time they call you are aware they are running an extortion scam, have alerted the authorities and that the FBI is monitoring their phone calls.

Called repeatedly threatening to arrest me in 10 minutes if I didn't pay them for a payday Loan that I missed 1 payment on.

I have been getting calls from a man with a thick Indian accent from 415-295-5685 saying that I will be getting arrested for unpaid pay day loans. Please someone help find out who this is!!!

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

415-295-5685 Keep calling about a payday loan that I owe when I have no outstanding debts.

some man would not tell me his name called my WORK phone left a message that he was a lawyer and i needed to call him back or my lawyer to deal with this issue. when i called back he said that i was going to be arrested at my job I work in a freakin doctors office im a single mom. I never got a loan from them they kept calling me and telling me to send them 150 bucks and they would send me a grand its bs. now they are telling me im going to jail or have to pay them something I never got frm them.... How do I get this to stop???? How did they get my work number???? IDK what to do..... SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE.........

Why do these people think we don't know our own business. If I took out a loan I would know. So y would I agree to pay back a loan I never had. And just because u called out a ssn I'm suppose to get scared and post. I told that Indian motherfu*ker to start legal proceedings. He  told me to call Kenneth Webseer for more info. I called to curse Kenny out to for playing on my phone and got a beep like an answering machine picked up. He called back twice more. Nerve wrecking people that you can't understand trying to take something. Call life lock about protecting your social security number.

Omg i had just returned from vacation i got the call from a man ten with a heavy accent claiming he was steve smith and he wished me luck as the situation unfolds on me..i called back and i talked to a woman who knew my address and last 4 and said she was sending police to arrest me for a payday loan i never took sje argued with me because i asked questions told me i was harrassing her and hung up...i called the policr they took a report i spoke to a lawyer who said its a scam...but they called a family member of mine who i dont even talk to so tell your realitives not to give information to anyone calling

They called me this morning saying that they were an attorney office that was sueing me for fraud and owing for a payday loan and I haven't took out any loans

Got several calls from 415 295 5685 a thick indian accent - told me I better call them or have my Lawyer call them right away or else they wish me luck. Scam artists - why are they in our country
I was once before scared by someone like this and really thought it was true - it was not - now I just call them back and ask for their Badge number so I can contact the FBI - they stopped calling right away

I actually applied through Mobilloans.com but the calls I received were from Cash Advance America. The first one was to tell me that I was approved for a $1,000.00 loan but that I needed to go to Western Union and send them $230.00. When I refused I received another call telling me to go to Walmart and buy a Green Dot Debit Card and put $150.00 on it and to call the back. I told the guy that I could not understand his English (thick accent) and that I would not be going to Walmart. That was about two weeks ago. Today (7-16-2013) I get a message on my voice mail threatening me with the sheriff coming to my house to arrest me for a payday loan (that I never got)! When I returned the call a lady named "Attorney" Michelle Brown said that her "paralegal" had called me for my attorney's fax number so that they could send some legal investigation documents otherwise the police would be coming to my house. I told her to go ahead and send the police to me and I will send the FBI to her. She hung up on me and would not answer the four times I called back.

This person calls and says he is Shawn Palow and my laywer needs to call him as soon as I hear this information or I will be sorry. He means it, call right away. I always tell Shawn to stop harrassing me and hang up.

As of now 79 calls for someone who I don't know in the last 3 days.  When I asked why he keeps calling he said he wants to f**k me. What is up with that? Because of these idiots I'm being forced to change my cell number.

I got called from this number 4 times in a row at work but no one was there so, I called it back, no answer.  Later that night I got a call from 404-845-7786 and told me I had not payed back a Payday loan and they were coming after me for court fees and that the Police would be arresting me at my place of employement if I didn't have the $9,000 and I could face 1 to 2 years in jail.  I said I was not late on any loan that I didn't like being threatened. He said he was threatening he was just informing. I told him when someone tells me that I am going to arrested I call that a threat. He said if that is the way you feel then wait for the police and hung up.

On 7/25/2013 I received a call from 415-295-5685 stating I owed a Cash Advance company money and I was going to be arrested for a payday loan debt. They first called my cell and then my work, so this lets me know they have my information. I tried calling the number back 5 times and it just beeps and goes blank. This is very upsetting not to mention painfully joke to play on anyone. I hope they catch the criminals that are behind this!

This number calls our office about once every 2 weeks asking for people who do not work here. They barely speak English and practically yell at me when I tell them the person does not work here. I am to the point where I just hang up on them. I will be on the phone with them and somehow the same number is trying to call in other the other line. This past time they left a very rude voicemail. I really wish someone could shut these people down.

This stupid company came  to my office and talked to my manager, and now makes my office feel frightened. I called the number and Michelle answered and told me I was going to be arrested for non pay of a payday loan, I told her I never took out a payday loan and she hung up on me.

My relative is a cop,  and he called the number, informed her she was talking to a cop and and Michelle told him to F Off.  

This is a scam, and Just report them.

I applied for a payday loan two weeks ago. I was asked to prove my ability to repay the loan by buying a green dot card.  I was assured that this would be returned to me with the loan.  Well, they got my money and I have not received a loan.  Every day I now receive a call about a loan: every day I tell them they are liars and thieves.  The names change but the accents are the same.
Today I received a call from them with the person calling stating that there are charges against me and I need to call 415-295-5685.  They requested me to verify my social security number: told them no because I have no idea what they are talking about.  They hung up and out of curiosity I called the number: a woman answered and hung up.  No one answered on my return efforts to find out what they wanted.
I am writing a complaint to my attorney general and considering contacting the FBI.
