I received a phone call from these people today as I see I am not alone. The man with a very thick accent stated that a lawsuit was filed against my name and social security number but the only other information he would give was that I must contact his attorney immediately to stop this police from showing up at my place of employment. Now I know my rights and if something like this was going on I would know immediately. I told him to file his papers and I would see him in court. I subsequently hung up. He called back and I informed  I was recording the call and would be reporting the number to the FTC. He called me a crazy bit** and hung up on me. Come on ppl....we are Americans....don't stand for this harassment! Do something about it and protect yourself and others by reporting them to the FTC.

They  called my job and reported that i needed to call them or my attorney. I called and got a click and a hung up.. This is obviously a scam. I wish I could sue them for calling my job.

I keep getting calls from some gentlemen with a heavy accent, first saying my loan was approved, then I said I never applied for a loan, they said it was a $10K grant and they needed my checking account number and my credit card number to deposit the money.  Now they call me about 20 to 30 times a day and hang up and refuse to listen to me when I tell them to stop calling my cell phone.  It is really disruptive to my business.

You might want to consider getting a call blocker!  If you have a caller id set up, a whistle, boat horn.. but rot, don't answer those calls! When I id them now, I pick up and hang up asap on those kind of calls.

Seams like these people have and regard for us hard working people. The same Indian Voiced man called my cell phone both from this number and unknown number. Also called my place of employment. Stating his name was Justin Johnson. Yeah right. He couldn't even pronounce his name. We are not allowed to receive personal calls at my office. So the receptionist told him that if he was really with the Department of Legal Affairs FDC then he could contact me at my home after work hours. He go super upset and started to threaten her. She told him this was a place of business and hung up. He proceeded to call again and again.
This is so horrible. I can get fired for this S&!$. There should be a way to stop this....
I blocked the number on my cell but they continue to call my job....

I received a call like this today at my office. A foreign speaking man left a message on my voicemail talking about I must call him back today immediately because this is a legal matter and the police will be coming soon. No reasons given and I could hardly understand him. I called the number back and got no answer.

Please do file reports with the FBI, your state attorney general,FTC & FCC..

I received a call on my work line and I was never so embarrassed. I have to yell at the guy over the phone at work and my boss was not happy.

Guy named "Peter Smith" says he's a police officer and is looking for a person with a weird name which I could not understand because of a heavy accent. So I even had him spell it and I still couldn't understand who the heck he was looking for.  He asked for my name and I was like hell no I'm not giving you any personal info on me. Then he threatened to sue me, he has a case and he's "Officer Peter" he'll put me behind bars. What a weirdo and I would hate to have his job threatening people all day.

Got a call from this number about legal action they could not tell about....I was very direct and forward about him telling me my address, he could not and continued by cursing at me....I blocked the number and they he has continued to call but they are not coming through.

I am horrified as well , These people phoned me a few days ago saying I could get a loan but it all sounded very suspicious to me when they told me I had to pay for a voucher at CVS and give them the number then 30 minutes later they would deposit the loan into my account. I am a solo Mom , going through pure hell and struggling to make ends meet. I did not do it , I could hear it was a scam and when I googled them it showed up everywhere that they are lying , cheating frauds.  I mean honestly we go to them as we are in a bad situation for help and they turn it around and make it ten times worse.  They have been calling me for days now and I wont pick up , until now... they used a different number , a man named Antony threatened me with saying they sending a Officer around as I owe a creditor money , when I asked who , he hung up.  The nerve to harass me like this and make false accusations , I never got a loan from them !!  What do I do , apart from FTC , can I call the police and tell them what happened or who do I call to report this  ??  Thank you anybody for help or advice.

I had the same call, a guy told me I was being sued for a loan for 598$ but after I get arrested I will owe 3,000$.. Whn I told him I nvr hv got a loan he hung up... How do I report this?

If you look to my post above, it has all the links to file reports! And you should do so every time this bozo calls! Keep any recorded messages, and record if you speak as well! Be sure and tell them your recording it!

Weird. I owe the exact same amount as others here $598. Which is supposedly the 'loan' that of course was never obtained, and fees. This [***] called my place of business twice yesterday and I called him back in my cellphone, blocking my number. Shocking enough, Peter smith answered. He had zero details on this 'case,.'He kept telling me, wait til tomorrow... GO ahead buddy. Make my day.

I did apply for a payday loan but not with this company or at this number some indonesion called me over and over saying I was approved for up to 5 k but wanted me to send a hundred bucks before they would send the funds dir dep to my account I told them if I had a hundrded to send u I wouldn't need a loan duh

I've been getting calls from them for two days. I finally answered and "Michael" with a very heavy accent told me he was from the IRS and I owed them money, but they needed info to complete my file. I told them to mail me a copy of what they wanted and I hung up. They immediately called back and told me to call the agent handling my case. When I did call and got another heavily accented person, I told them I knew it was a scam. The reply I got was "oh my God" and I hung up. No calls back yet.

Scammers at their worst! Call constantly, I'll be reporting them to the AG's office asap!
