Just got the same kind of call. He wouldn't tell me what it was for. Just said I needed to call this number. I called it 4 times and nobody answered. He also told me there was a case filed against me.

Indian speaking person asking me for the last four digits of my social security number, I have been getting calls like this and all from indian speaking people. I really wish the phone companies would weed these [***] out of the calling lists or something they need to be stopped!! The women also said that she was with an attorneys office.

This is EXACTLY what happened to me. They told me I was approved for $2,000 and asked me to go get $150.00 on a green dot card at Wal-Mart and I knew right then that it was a scam. So I said "yeah, I'll do that and call you back." And of course I never called back. Today they left me a threatening voicemail saying that I needed to call back immediately and that legal action was being taken against me for a payday loan. I called back and a man with an Indian accent spoke to me. He had my social security number, my name and my bank information. He read me all of these legal terms and said that I owed $530.00 with late fees for an original $300.00 loan and I said "I never took out a loan" and he hung up on me. I tried calling back 15 times and they would not answer. I also had my stepfather (a federal agent, really) call them and they would not answer.

I received the same phone call. The person talking is an male with an Indian accent and I can't understand the person name because its not his real name. What should I do about this. I know that I can stop the calls from this number. I just hate when people keep disturbing your day with scams like this.

Received a call at work Eric Wilson saying that a lawsuit was filed against me and my attorney needed to call Mr. Kenneth Webster ASAP.  I asked him to explain this lawsuit? He said that he could not do that. I had to call Mr. Webster or else he would have to send the paperwork in the mail.  I told him to send the paperwork in the mail and to not call my work phone anymore. I never received a payday loan from these people.  I do not owe them anything.  How can I stop them from calling?

They called this morning telling me they have a warrant for my arrest and will be coming soon. They said they were trying to collect $699.19 from me and I haven't paid and it's considered to be theft. I asked when this pay day loan was given, the caller said he didn't have that information, the cops would tell me when they get here. I said, "if you have a warrant for my arrest you should know this. The cops would not have that info." I told him I'll wait for the cops to come, and while I'm waiting, I'll call the FBI and Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to report this scam they're running. He immediately hung up.

A "Steve" called me multiple times in the last half hour. I answered and listened to him demand to speak to my lawyer. I asked him what this was about, just to stall for time while I was googling the number. He said he cannot tell me and has to speak to my lawyer about this. By this point Google had loaded up. I told him I knew he was a scam and hung up. He immediately called me back. I again told him I knew him to be a scam, hung up, and put him on my phone's blacklist. Almost immediately, I got a voice mail saying he needs me to call him "The second you get this message" and that if I or my attorney didn't call him back within the next 24 hour "all I can do is offer you a very good luck."  I wish these guys really were in the USA so we could report them and have their whole operation shut down and every person who works there arrested.

Calls several times a week with this - this time his name is Derrick Smith calling from 415-295-5685
Yesterday it was a man named Peter calling from 213-437-6630 and another from 646-929-4647 named Roger Rooter stating that if I didn't cooperate that I would be arrested and wanted me to transfer them to my manager and if I didn't do so that he would have my job by the end of the day.  

They are nuts - all India speaking accents (very heavy)

They have called me three times today telling me not to interrupt him while he talks and when i said I never had a loan from them he was like take it up with my county court house

I have received two calls from this number today. I didn't answer either time. The person left a voicemail message both times that said the exact same thing. Stating that the very minute I got the message I needed to return the call or I needed to have my attorney return the call and If my attorney or myself did not call back all he could do was wish me luck because the situation would fall on me but he didn't state what the situation was. There was no other information given to me what the call was regarding. The person spoke with a very thick accent and spoke fast so it was very hard to understand him.

They threatened me at my work place with legal action and said that if I didn't talk to them I would go to jail..

I also received a call from this place to call them back. I called them back and the lady who answered said I was going to be arrested and that I needed a lawyer. I told her this was a scam and she then called me a b**** and hung up on me. These people are crazy and rude!!

Received a call from a gentleman who said that his name was Michael and he was calling about a loan and that I was going to be arrested for not handling this situation.  I asked how did he get my work number and cell; he could not answer.  I informed him to remove my numbers and if I received another call I would be pressing charges and that I knew this was a SCAM!

They came in person to your office??  Really???  What did they do come by camel from India?

Pay no attention to these people.  What are they going to do?  Extradite you to the mid east for an unpaid payday loan?  Ha

They have been calling all week for my husband I told them I was him and they proceeded to tell me that I had warrant gave a warrant number and case number then told me the police was coming after I told him that I knew he was some BS he said f me so I started to play on there phone..I also spoke with the female she called me a b... These people are crazy but so am i

I have been deal with this and one other number that is actually the same, well they are calling my daughter, and asking for Emily, which is not her, and I called them number back and a man answered with a heavy Indian accent, I told him not to call her and it was not who he was looking for. Anyways, a few days later it began again, but she didn't answer. I tried to call back and they will not answer, so I kinda want to play their game......lets see how many times I can call before they go crazy!

These people just called me and told my fiance he has two charges against him for fraud to call Kenneth Weston at the same number and Attorney Michelle brown said he was in a meeting. She told my fiance about police coming and when he told her he never had a loan in his life she hungup...called back. Several. Times. No answer...
