- Kat replies to AletaDo you often look up phone numbers when you already know who called you? Why?
- St Eve replies to RuthieI got several calls from this number, I finally answered it. Funny, that the recording asked to verify my Alias, instead of my legal name. My legal name is the only name associated with this number. This number is not used much. I don't even know this number, unless I look it up. I hung up after that.
- irma gonzalez aponteSecond call from this number but I have NEVER used cvs pharmacy. Them they ask to enter year of birth which I would never do.
- Caller: cvs pharmacy
- LauraI don’t fill prescriptions at CVS pharmacy.
- Caller: Caremark
- Gilbert| 1 replyCalled claiming to be CVS renewing a "our records show" expired prescription and offering to take it up where "a local store may have already called". This happened within hours of us renewing our prescription at our local, independent, pharmacy. They had my address and medicine type. HIPPA violation anyone?
Caller ID showed CHATTANOOGA TN- Caller: CVS Caremark - supposidly
- Call type: Telemarketer
- BigA replies to GilbertNo, not if your insurance company uses them to manage the prescription medicine end of your policy.
- SharonCalled saying I had a prescription they needed to talk to me about. I knew it was a scam because I haven’t been to Chattanooga in 50 years.
- Caller: CVS
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- JayRobocaller claimed to be from Aetna Insurance, stating I was overdue on a prescription refill. This has the ring (pun intended) of truth as I am no longer buying Chinese manufactured generics thanks to repeated drug recalls. They asked me to call back. I was given a toll free number and a seven digit code. That's 17 numbers total, too many for my attitude.
- Caller: Aetna
- Call type: Valid
- Rozbee replies to scam spotterI received a call from the same number but they said it was Aetna Dental. I have never used them!
- Roy PattersonThey are calling about a prescription that I have with CVS Pharmacy. Definitely a scam operation as I do not have an account with CVS.
- Caller: CVS
- Call type: Telemarketer
- bellaJust got a call from this number and my husband answered the phone. He thought it was legitimate because our prescriptions were due. He answered a couple of questions using the keypad and then got frustrated and hung up. We have NEVER used CVS for our prescriptions. We have moved and do NOT have a CVS close to us any longer. Why can't someone do something about all of these bogus calls??????

- jenkinscam, evil call
- post pending moderator approval
- NimbyAccording to CVS I never submitted the refill. Besides another Pharmacy pulled the prescription from CVS. CVS called 3 days later and said it was ready. Why pick it up? I never submitted it. Besides if I waited for them to refill it I would have missed taking two days. Not talking to them was my way of saying my final goodbyes.
- Caller: CVS Pharmacy
- Call type: Unwanted
- Me| 1 replyEveryone is saying this number is CVS but the voice mail said “This is AEtna” calling about an over due prescription. I don’t know what to believe. Called Aetna and they sounded confused.
How is this number one minute for CVS and then Aetna?
I don’t use CVS.
Wanted to note,
Some of the replies to people are uncalled for on this forum. Calling people mentally unstable and just being mean. shame on you.- Caller: 4238222465
- Pudge replies to MeI can understand your confusion. This number is "all over" the net with some claiming it is a legitimate call from CVS and/or Aetna, while others maintain it is a scam. Call back (don't do this with an unknown number) gets "Thank you for calling CVS care mark mail service pharmacy. Please enter your seven digit security code." If Aetna uses CVS as a preferred provider, they may include "Aetna" in their messaging. That said, it's always possible that scammers are spoofing a legitimate number. Spoofing is prevalent and legitimate businesses are not immune to the tactic. In fact, they may be preferred targets. That might account for persons receiving calls who have no prescriptions pending with CVS or Aetna. Scammers are known to use legitimate business names and numbers to "phish" for sensitive information. As always, it's best to verify a call by calling the number listed for the business. Stay safe. :-)
- Uninterestedprobably a scam call.
- olepharthad a call no msg left. disregarded. if they call again, I will block.; i HATE AT&T but they have a base station with 3 side units. The base holds 1,000 block numbers,

- plI just got that call also. I did not answer. they left a msg that my husband is overdue on a script refill. We do not and have never used CVS. 2 days ago I received a call on my land line from my own home phone number. So if you think the this is legit, think again. Telemarketers can duplicate and do use valid numbers for their menacing ways. Yesterday I received a phone call from a very angry person wanting to know who I was and why I was calling her. I actually was walking in the door with groceries and did NOT call her. I wasn't even home, so that does prove that one of the scammers out there have duplicated my home number.
