I also received an automated call from this number, I can't understand CVS calling me about a prescription - MY PRESCRIPTIONS DO NOT GO THROUGH CVS, I have never had a prescription with CVS.  I think before accepting the call, you should check further.

I just called the number back I had missed a call when they called me and they did not leave a message at first I went through an automated system and it asked me to enter my phone number and I did so and then I was connected in the first thing the man said was my name and that he was from Kaplan University and I told them I did not want to be receiving calls from them. I do not know how these people think it CVS it could be used for a number of things nowadays with the way technology is but the call that I received was from Kaplan.

Phishing scam. Recording claimed they were CVS-Caremark, and they had "important information" for me. They even used my name in the voice mail message. Except I've never used CVS (nothing personal, they're just not local).  I called back out of curiosity. An automated voice asked me to confirm my name then asked for my DOB. Seriously?  This is Phishing 101.  Hung up and blocked the number.

SGL, either you're wound up way too tight or you're one of the phishing scam people trying to convince folks here to give out personal info over the phone. NO, it's not about my prescriptions since I've never done business with CVS. And NO -- it's not about a phone # entered incorrectly -- they used my name in the voice mail message. As I said below, Phishing 101.

I have no prescriptions through CVS, so if this is really from them why would they call me.  Not willing to give a recording any of my personal information.

I just called my local CVS to check on this.  The CVS worker had even received a call from this recently; when she told them she works at CVS they told her to excuse the call and hung up on her.  THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM!

Received a message just recently and checked white pages.  They say high scam on their website.  Message left said they were CVS Caremark and to call an 877 number with a id code number.  CVS has info so did not call back.   As far as I'm concerned this is a hack.

Received a call from CVS Caremark regarding an overdue prescription.  They left a number and a security code.  We have never used CVS for prescriptions,  The only company we have used for prescriptions sent through the mail is Medco.  Not going to call them back.  We are on the Do Not Call list as well.  We don't have the ringer on our phone on because of all the bs calls and scams.

Just received call.  Recorded message, saying they were calling about "prescription information".  They said they were from Aetna.  Asked for birthdate. I hung up and called number on back of my card.  This was NOT Aetna!  Call your insurance company, and don't give out any information.  As for the persons saying it's "BS"...then you give them YOUR private information and quit putting other people down. Check it out, people.

NOT a spam call.  It's CVS/CAREMARK who are my prescription providers.  They call to remind me to renew medications.  Sure would be helpful if they put their company name in the Caller ID, but it shows up as Tennessee.
    • Caller: CVS/CAREMARK - ok caller

If you call the 877 callback number and go through all the prompts to the end, you get the choice of opting out from future calls by speaking the words "Opt Out" after the chime prompt.

Automated call from Chattanooga TN. Said they were Aetna  Insurance company and told me to call 866-537-2393. Instead I called Aetna and they confirmed that was their number  in Tennessee. So then I called that number and they were concerned that I had not refilled my prescription. Having been in a rehab hospital for seven or eight weeks after breaking my arm I was supplied with my medication I through the hospital. It was nice of Aetna  to check on me. This was a legal call.
