Same here. What's funny is that I've never taken a student loan in my life.

These goo-goo- heads keep calling I never answer, these bums never leave a message call back once got nothing but dead air, Just other scam to get your money these bums.

Another call from these robo-dialing parasites.  They are relentless.  Blocked forever.

I have a cheapie smartphone but they recently incorporated an app to block callers (rah rah).  I have a prepaid cell & if they so much as let the voicemail answer, I have to pay for that call.  Just so you know.  As for these jerkwaters that keep calling you & hanging up w/o leaving a msg.......I wonder........do they get paid if they reach a good #?  I get sometimes up to four or five a day on my landline & maybe one a month on my prepaid cell.  I actually have a spreadsheet that lists the #s, when they call & any other info I have.  Amazing how one company (like the one about solar energy) has at least ten #s that I'm aware of & no matter how many times you block them, they start calling on another #.  These guys just don't give up.  The sad thing was that I was forced to buy a call blocker which should be paid for by these a$$wipe$, not by me who has little money these days.  I just don't think this whole situation is very fair.  Oh & I love when they call at 10pm.  I have almost all my ringers turned off & I think that's pretty sad that somebody can't do something about these jerks.  

I received a call this morning but didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. Called back and an automated re was that the call could not be completed.  I repeatedly receive calls like this. I am on the National Do Not Call list but these scamsters seem to be able to bypass the system.

They called twice today, I just blocked their entire area code with my Panasonic phone. Now no more calls.

"California Call" stayed on long enough to trigger the answering machine to take a dial tone message.

Takes 10 seconds to block these guys on my cell phone.....less time than I spent typing this message...BLOCK EM!!!!

Fact 1)  The DNC list CLEARLY does not work, everyone should knows this by know, it's a government program that doesn't function like all or most programs they generate.
Fact 2) Filing a complaint with the FCC does not work, a total waste of time; done that.
Fact 3) Having an unlisted phone will not help you.
Fact 4) Asking/begging telemarketers to take you off their call list does not work!
Fact 5) No "class action" suits are filed and certainly, this is not a remedy. Many of these telemarketers are in other countries and out of the jurisdiction of the USA.
Fact 6) Complaining to the BBB is a corrupt organization that sells their ratings to the highest bidder.

AMAZON.COM has a great selection of blocking telephones & devices, some will hold up to 1,200 numbers. They’re cheap - $40-$60 and they work beautifully!  These phones or blocking devices also block “PRIVATE”, “OUT OF AREA” and "UNKNOWN" calls!!!
Some phone companies include a *60 call block feature with their service………

Phone / blockers info sounds great - can you post an Amazon link or brand name and model # for some of these devices?

We all need a good TELE-PEST Pest Control Company or Device to stop these calls BEFORE they even ring.
If you plug in a FAX and they get a Fax tone does that remove your number from their list? Just a thought!

I paid cash in full for my college education about 20 years ago. And I worked 1 full time job and a part time job to do it.  So tired of the slackers Obama is creating and the phishing phone calls inspired by a whack lazy, unpatriotic president.
