call received. no message left. i did not call back. my number is registered on DNC list.

Telemarketer. There IS a way to block future calls from this and every phone number you don't want to have call you.  I set up a contact named   AD - BLOCK THIS.  I add every scam number to this. Have 13 numbers now and growing. On my iPhone, i blocked the call by going to   SETTINGS --> PHONE --> BLOCKED and adding the contact name of AD - BLOCK THIS (or whatever you want to call it). I no longer get calls from each of those designated numbers.

these bums keep calling and for what? it just other scam to get your hard earn money. Don't these people something else to do beside bug good people like us?

424-250-0740 called me and they just hung up. CNAM said: "California Caller." I only answered because I have a lot of callers (that are legit) that call from 424 area code.

Your facts are wrong and your rant is unacceptable. "DNC" in this phone number's forum = Do Not Call (list) - and it does not mean Democratic National Committee. You need to think before you speak\type. Get a life.

ID was calling numbers strung together - NEVER answer unknown callers and no VM.

The DNC registry is a complete hoax. They've never prosecuted anyone, nor stopped the criminal scammers. Those idiots in DC take money from the telecommunication lobbyists and laugh at the stupidity of the taxpayers while they all play golf together.

There are still many phone plans both pay as you go and contract plans that limit your  calls.  My granddaughter is a single mom that has a plan that allows her only 300 minutes a month. She is charged extra or cut off for calls over her limit.  It pays to be nice to people instead of insulting them!  Many of the people on here are only a paycheck or 2 away from disaster!

This company calls me every morning between 9 and 9:30. I picked up once and it was about student loans. Since I'm 72 years old and never went to college these people are barking up the wrong tree. Please report the number. It does help altho sometimes you wonder. I just use my caller ID now and let my answering machine pick up. Off course they never leave a message. Annoying but a part of our life now I'm afraid.

Second call this week from this number. I didn't ans phone.

I got a call from this company or whatever it is at 10:10.  One of my co-workers said they call to see if it is a working number they don't care who you are and if they are bothering you..they don't talk because their only job is to capture working numbers and then put them on a list for sale to telemarketers and interested companies.

I've been getting daily calls with no message left. Thanks other message-leavers, now I don't have to wonder!

I am registered with " Do not call " still getting calls from whoever .  Missed call, no message was left either time they have called.

They keep calling my cell.  I don't answer and they don't leave a message.

You may want to check how to spell the word "grammar" if you're going to use that as part your name. But I do appreciate your correction of the earlier writer's use of "to" when he meant "too".

Just added it to my lengthy list of blocked numbers. There are loads of apps in Google Play that will block phone numbers. That's much better than dealing with these bellends or whining about the Do Not Call list. Who cares if you're on it? The scam artists that are calling you do not care, and neither do we.

Received a call from this number. It is the same back and knee brace scam callers that claim to have been referred by your doctor or Medicare. It's a recorded message from "Mike" regarding "back and knee braces" when you finally get to a live human, they sound like they are from India. They do not respect your request to be removed from their call list, as I still get at least one call a day from them. They also call from the following numbers. I suggest blocking all of them if you can.

Received a call from 424-250-0740.  Answered no response.  I think its a "Drone Phone", where they troll for live lines and sell the data to other scammers.  Usually I get a call back from a seemingly dissimilar area code number, usually within the hour. I did not receive any other calls todayCall came in on n2/20/15 at 9:48am pst time.
