Brilliant. That's EXACTLY what I've been saying on these forums for years.

Call came in - I did not recognize number, therefore I did not answer... no message left.

Call from this number but no message, just a hang up. Very annoying as this is the tenth call from hang up numbers in the past week..

The caller ID (noted above) tells me the call I received from this number is a robocall from a telemarketer.

I have blocked the number from my phone.

Give it up, scammers and telemarketers!

A call originating from this number was received today.  When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller (amazingly!) left a message about reverse mortgages.  According to www.411.com this is a VOIP number from Lomita, CA.  According to many other posters, this is an operator of various scams, apparently targeting folks who are 62 and older.  We can add reverse mortgages to its catalog of frauds.

DO NOT BECOME A VICTIM.  DO NOT ANSWER CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER.

Did not answer. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. The caller didn't leave a message either. (No surprise there) I will block the number,but that's like playing whack a mole! I,like most am on the DNC registry, but obviously it does no good.

Called 4/22/15, 3:35 pm PDT. Caller ID showed "Harbor City CA" and this number., Checking other reverse number look-up sites, this is a spoofed number and caller is either trying to "help" with your student loan (don't now nor ever had one) or a telemarketer. My phone answered by robo call blocker which says we don't accept calls from telemarketers, to remove our number "from their call list" (legal requirement to ever prosecute), or press 0 to leave a message. No message left.

No message was left when call went to my answering machine @ 2:54 PM EDT on 5/15/15.

There is not and never has been a Democratic Party of Democratic National Committee.  It's the Democrat Party.  And it is anything BUT democratic...

Another scammer number to add to my block list. At this point in time, there is no way to stop them. Most of them operate outside the US/Canada and they do not care about our DNC list. The only thing that slows them down is to not answer your phone if you don't recognize the number. The more you answer, the more your number gets passed around to other criminal scammers.
