These calls are from NCO in Renton, Washington. It is a debt collection agency, one of many that contracts with Visa, MC, etc.

425-390-8192 called my cell phone would not tell me who they were. Only wanted information. Hung up on me when I pressed for information and tried to tell them not to call me anymore.

It always seems like when I originally registered then re-register (as you are required to do every so often) with the Do Not Call Registry I get a lot of nonsense phone calls from various places.  I NEVER put my cell number down on anything--- family and friends only---- however the Do Not Call Registry is the only place I have ever entered my cell number!?!?!   I find this very interesting!  Anyone else experience the same.  Both my cell and home phone ring off the hook for about 6 or so months after registering........

my call is from a company trying to sell me a refill for medications that i never took.

this number called today but If I do not recognize area code, do business or have friends there I do not answer.  Too many account thefts out there.

Didn't answer the call because didn't recognize number.  Still irritating to receive unsolicited calls.  Both my cell and home number are on the do not call list so they shouldn't be calling. According to post this is a company that attempts to obtain private information and is a scam.

You just verified that it is a working number with someone who can answer. I wouldn't be surprised if you start getting a lot of calls now!

THIS IS UNWANTED CALL - I am on do not call list, which does not seem to be stopping annoying calls.  Blogs indicate this # is a company that wants to consolidate my debt, which I don't need and did not request.

I keep getting calls from this place on my cell phone and I am on the do not call list.  They say I can get a reduced interest rate on my credit card, guess what I do not have any credit cards.  It is a recording, I would love to give them a piece of my mind.  I have to pay for these minutes and that just makes me mad!!!!!!!

Recorded message didn't identify origin/company calling.  Said they were offering to lower the interest rate on my credit card. Then the call disconnected.  When I called the number back I was disconnected again. Very curious.

Received a call from this number. I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer it. No message was left. This is the 2nd or 3rd time they have called me. I programmed their number so that it will be rejected when they call my cell.

How do you know it is NCO?
