Call recd from 425 4069022.
Complete fraud- they tell you your Windows machine has virus & they are calling from technical maintenance department. Crap!!!

I have gotten a call from this number a few days this week.  I do not pick up and am glad I don't after reading these posts.   I assume many, like myself are on the national "Do Not Call" List.  I have tried filing complaints but calls keep coming from different scammers. My questions is why can't these numbers be traced and these places shut down?

Got a call from them and he was very rude when I told him my computer was fine. Can they only get into your computer if you do what they tell you to do?

I get regular calls from "Not in Service". I'm guessing I get (from all callers) at least 2-3 per day.  If I get a person (Rare) and tell them I am on DO Not Call list, they proceed to tell me how they are exempt.

just got a call from this number, when it said washington state i said, no way am i answering that!! left an automated message of which i could only hear half, advising me to call their secure line!!  ots a land line in kirkland Washington

Received this call at 5:26 pm on 4/23/2013.  Asked to speak with my husband.  I asked him who was calling and he said, "Frank".  Asked him, "what company are you calling from Frank".  He then asked me what my name was and again, I asked him "what is your full name Frank?".  He then said, "bye bye" and hung up.

I received 2 calls form this number today, saying I was being offered a free cruise trip because of a charge I had made on my credit card.

Hey, I once answered that I knew all about the microsoft scam, and now I knew his was David. He hung up!

I got a call from this number today,it was an Indian man named "Robert" from Ohio. he said that he was from Windows support and there were "hidden germs" in my computer. I said that Microsoft doesn't call people.He said that he was from eGater (I think , I couldn't understand him well ). it was hard to understand him but I also had to repeat myself many times. I mentioned that I was on the do not call list and then he said "what?" and I said" in Canada (I live in Canada) we have a do not call list". He went completely off topic saying more stuff about me having to go to my Windows computer sending out lots of viruses and saying he has all the answers to my questions that how can I say he's a scammer etc.I asked which computer but he said any Windows computer which means that they don't know, so it's really a scam. I finally hang up, but after 30 seconds he called with the same number. I didn't answer. WATCH OUT because they also call from another number: 917-217-9514. I didn't answer because it was right after this number so it was obvious it was this so called "Robert"....

There is no Indian man "Robert" in Ohio calling you.  It is a scammer in India calling and lying to you.  Indians themselves are starting to wake up to the fact that they are gaining the same reputations as the Nigerians for all their 419 scams, but this time with telephone call centers, not emails:

Got a call today at 09:08 CET from "David" at the "Windows Support Center" on  +425-406-9022 .
Also got a call a few day ago from 9712179518 but it is the same scam.

Their call woke me at 6:00 am - I was hung up on when I picked up! I am so fed up with these idiots and have added multiple numbers from these so-called 'Windows agents' to my blocked list. This will be yet another added. It's simply amazing that they can continue to get away with this - it's truly becoming epidemic.

I can the same thing! He asked me who I was with and how old I was though. His accent was really strong and when I asked him what he said he got really rude.

Just got a phone call from this scam non-artist and told them I did not have a computer.  They are full of horse s***.

The polite man said he was from Microsoft.  He said problems were found on my computer which he could repair for me.  I was happy he would help me.  He asked me to start up my computer and turn over control to him so he could fix the problems.  I watched the screen as he installed software on my computer.  Then he became rude and told me it would cost $1,000 for me to use my computer again.  I complained that my new computer was still under warranty.  He laughed and said it did not matter.  He wanted me to send $1000 to him on Western Union.  I began crying and he laughed louder.  I hung up the phone and unplugged my new computer.  Later I took my new computer outside where I burned it.  Tomorrow I will bury it next to my other computers.  I do not trust Microsoft any more

Couldn't hear it-also had accent making it even more difficult.  After a few words, she says O.K.?  And I say I can't answer that because I can't hear you and hung up.

And you are the type of folks they love. I'm sorry, but the other commenter was correct if indeed somewhat rude. Use your head.

"Dean" had called me earlier on another line but after playing stupid for 15 minutes, he hung up on me. Not a minute later, three calls in a row from three different numbers which I ignored. About ten minutes later, another number that actually identified as "telemarketer" on my phone. It was Dean. He asked me if I was in front of my computer and I told him I was on the toilet. He said to take my time. Sooooo, my wife almost peed herself when I took the phone into the bathroom and gave out a loud grunt, just for authenticity. I told him I would have to call him back.

Oh look, it's Dean again. Hmmmm, hello? hello? hello? I can't hear anyone. He hung up. Good gravy, he keeps calling with different numbers.
