Got a call on my cell phone with this number. Rang for one second and then disconnected. Called it back and got a message saying it was a rogue caller id and that the phone company blocked it. States they could not confirm where the call was made from, but it's not Kirkland, WA. Said if I had any information on who this caller is to contact some calleridscam.com website and to have my cell provider run a trace on the number.

Worst scammers in the world.  Bad "help me with my computer scam"  They were so bad I grew bored of messing with them, and even then were so stuck on their script they just kept babbling as I called them names.

Answered phone wo checking caller id and immediately recognized the scam.  Asked him for his co name and where the head office was and his name.. Tried to tell me in his heavy east indian accent that his name was Scott Reid and that he was calling from California.. Asked how he knew I even owned a computer.. He suggested all laptop req'd MS OS .. I suggested perhaps someone had provided him confidential info he should not be privy to.. perhaps if he had sales records he might also provide me with my my serial #.. he did not of course have this.. I essentially called Scott Reid out as a liar.  The Company Name is not listed as a certified MS IT Support. .name he used was PC IT Support out of California.  Said he was an authorized Microsoft

The caller ID showed NOT IN SERVICE on my screen in the phone, WTF!!  These are scam calls, and we never bother picking up the phone unless we really recognize the caller/number.  Windows/Microsoft doesn't call you!!  Jamaica calls you, they are [***] trying to steal your ID, your credit card numbers, your checks and money, you name it.  These f##kers love to screw over older people in Hawaii and all over the world.  These idiots get your landline and now your cell phone numbers by having a computer dial randomly to get numbers that ring, connect and answer.  Make sure you have MalwareBytes, Norton, and SpyBot on your computers to protect them.  Scan regularly every few hours to keep up to date.  These hackers can get into your computer by calling your phone number, believe it or not!

The first time they called - acouple of months ago, they told me they were Microsoft. When I asked a few questions, they said that were not actually MS, but they were authorzed  by them. I told them that my computeer was working just fine and if I had any problems I would call my local computer tech and hung up. The yecond time they called, I told them there must some mistake because not only did I not have a computer, I don't even have a TVe and I then put on my "dumb" voice and asked if they could help me with my radio as it isn't working wellThey hung up. I then had a few calls with hangups and then nothing until this week. When I got the ffirst call this week, I tried to call back and got a long recorded message from the phone company telling me that this is a dangerous message They called again this morning at 6 AM and hung up. I am in Canada and don't know who to contact.

Second time they called my number.  I requested the caller identify company (I knew them as a fraudulant company).  after the 5th attempt, I informed him that the call was recorded and that it was being reported to authorities, then told him to call back when he could speak english.

Just had a call from this #, said he was from Microsoft & I had a problem with my computer& could I go to it.
I said I don't have any problems & hung up. Afterward wished I had asked a few questions, his name & where he was calling from. I answered it because we have a B&B & quite often get #'s I don't recognize.

We got the same call a few months ago, ...yesterday during lunch, from another number  (1-555-034028) (with our computer off - although they insisted we were in front of an opened hacked computer) and just now, during lunch again, while my closed computer was apparently on...  I replied that my brother is a PC Programmer and that if we have any kind of problem with our PC, he's the guy we go to. I could hear others in the background. And the caller replied, Oh!, a PC Prorammer, ...Ok bye! This is a total scam. A visit to your local  IT, Staple's or FutureShop, ...will be much less of a headache. We all know someone much closer who can fix our computer!!!

Early morning (5:45) wake up call to tell me that my windows is infected and I could loose my computer. Having kids, I hate the phone ringing in the AM, NEVER A GOOD CALL THAT EARLY.. he had a strong East Indian accent and was very pushy. when I told him I did not trust him, he became defensive and he also could not give me a name and phone number for me to call back with..I said goodbye. He called back! I told him never call again...unbelievable.

I live in canada and live with my grandmother.  She often gets homecare calls but this day August 6, 2013, she got a call at 7:25 am and woke her up.  I was already up.  We both answered at same time.  She was confused so I told her I got it and to hang up.  When I got on line, the guy hung up.  I *69 the # & it gave me 425-406-9022 so I privatised our ph# and called the number.  A recording said this is a route call which means someone has taken a number and is using it to make marketing fraud calls and to report it to your local telephone company. The recording also said the number may appear different than call display.

We do not have call display phones.

just got called from an indian saying he was from Microsoft,  he says my pc has been sending "network error" messaged to him and has a virus and that he could show me how to sort it.  after clicking on a few buttons, I hung up.  he know my name, address and telephone number.  I didn't believe him for 1 minutes so I quickly googled the number and saw it was a scam.  he called back several times to say there was a fault on his signal but I just kept hanging up.  I am glad I did!!!!!!
