- Hamilton, ONJust got this call as well. i tried to get the spelling of host company but accent was too thick. All i got was Global (something) Cloud from New York. He told me the same things-computer problems were reported regarding Malware and it was very important it be fixed so they were calling to help me fix it. Apparently this was reported to them a month ago. Clearly important. He refused to give me a call back number saying i could not have access to that unless i registered my name and info with them. I let him know i had not had my computer connected to the internet for several months now and if he didn't take my number off their list and stop calling me i would report their scam to the police. I've several of there call in the past year and they ARE illegal, but you need a name and number to show up to identify them.

- TGI got this call today and was blown away. A guy named Steven (not) with a heavy indian accent said my computer was sending error messages to Windows. He asked me to log into my computer. I asked him to verify my IP address and he said we don't have that so I asked, then how do you know its my computer? When I started asking more detailed questions, he hung up. I would have berated the guy if I knew he was trying to scam me.

- DeeCaller ID said Kirkland, WA. Woman with a South Asian-sounding accent said: "Your computer has Windows, right?" Then caller tried to tell me that there was a problem. I hung up without my usual comment about my number being on the Do Not Call list. Caller didn't care.
As other posters have written, there was background noise and static during the call. Reminded me of overseas calls 25+ years ago, with a slight delay or echo in speaking/hearing.- Caller: unknown in Kirkland, WA
- Ihatespammerssomeone called and wanted to access our computer. Knew we were running Windows and wanted access to it so they could check it. I told him no. Asked what social networks I was using, etc. Definately a scam. I didn't initiate the helpdesk call.

- ScottI first received a call from 206-397-1127 on my cell phone. The caller ID listed Washington. The caller had a heavy Indian accent and told me he was from the Dept. of Education. First, I thought it was odd that a government agency would have an employee like that making calls. He told me that he wanted to send me information on colleges in my area. He passed me on to his supervisor, who also had an Indian accent, but was much easier to understand. He gave me his first and last name, which was English, like Tom Collins. He gave me the same spiel as the first guy and said someone would call me in the next 48 hours to enroll me in the college of my choice. He did ask me if I had access to the Internet and he already had my email address. I'm not sure how he got that.
This whole call seemed so strange, that I knew something wasn't right. That's when I Googled the numbers and found these comments.
Ten minutes after the original call, I get a call with the 425-406-9022 number. I swiped ignore on my cell phone. A minute or two later, I get another call. This time I let the phone ring to see if they would leave message. They didn't. Called again an hour later and left no message.- Caller: Unknown
- ArianaScam artist!! Beware! Some guy name Alex Abebe is a scammer, beware not to give information private data. Just dont pick up even if you get a call 8 times in a row. I dont know if its one guy or a company but he asks for maiden names and weird stuff. Has a heavy accent, Ethopian, not Indian even though they sound close. Ignore the calls!

- MeganI got a call from someone with an Indian accent claming to be from Microsoft. 4254069022. Told me my computer is sending them error messages. I told him to eff off, nice try... my computer has been dead for 3 months now (ancient E Machine that was still running Window XP and finally took it's last breath recently). Can't believe people actually fall for this. I'm in Lethbridge Alberta, Canada.
- morrik5 replies to BetMy brother was scammed by this company. Called the police who advised it was exactly that, a scam.
- JessieI just got a call from this number at my work. The Caller ID said CNS MRK RC. The caller said his name was Anthony from Easy Access Capital about a cash advance that someone from here had taken out. I suspected a scam but told him that I wouldn't be the person to talk to (which is true) and offered to give a message to the appropriate person. The number that he gave me to call back on was 347-474-1887... I searched for that number but all I find is a website that says it's an unlisted landline in Brooklyn. I tried calling it to see what would happen, and it was answered as Easy Access Capital, but when I asked for Anthony they said that there was nobody there by that name.
- Upset&FrustratedI am registered on a Do Not Call List. How do these rude & inconsiderate telemarketers/crooks get our phone #'s when we are on a DNCL? What is a person to do? Is there anywhere we can go to list these unwanted #'s? Please let me know if there is.
