- SummerSunshineHave received several of these calls over the last couple days. Caller ID at first kinda looks legit ‘cause it says Microsoft. Which I know it isn’t, of course. What “SPEARL” means is anyone’s guess. Is this how they think SPECIALIST is spelled. ??? Scammer. Blocked.

- JAMHad just requested MS support callback from PC. Showed wait time 179 mins. Immed callback from this #, didn't ring but found msg of 5secs empty air. # didn't list on call log either but was identified on phone vm details. I will not answer even though I asked for support call. Don't trust any of these callers who can't leave msg and won't use any out of country based tech support. I'll continue fixing on own. Thought I'd speed things up. Wasn't offered text chat which I would have tried first.
- Caller: MS tech support possible scam

- JAMAnother call 16 mins after 1st. Again 5 secs of air on msg. # did show on call log this time.

- Ron BI received a call from this number today. Maybe it is a legit call from Microsoft, Support but any professional organization would leave at least a short message stating who they are and why they are calling. My rule is if it is a # I don't recognize and they don't leave a message they are immediately blocked!

- TimJust received a call from this number. Caller was a foreign-accented male reporting to be from Microsoft, doing a followup call. He was starting to offer share my screen when I interrupted his script. I told him I suspected the call was a scam, and hung up. Now, I DID contact Microsoft with an issue, but this was literally MONTHS ago so I strongly doubt that this was a followup call (and if it IS, then they need a better call-scheduling algorithm...).

- SteffieFake Microsoft techs. Somehow hijacked number after I had legitimate tech support that resolved issue. Yet, I received a follow up
Voice mail and a second call asking to set up a session with their level 3 team! I told caller I was all set and the case number he gave me was phony and I know they are scamming me. Then hung up.- Caller: Fake micrisoft

- LYNNE LAMOTTEI had tech support for a windows 10 update and after it was concluded, I received a call from this numbershortly after and when I asked the person's name and where he was from he told me Hammid and he was in Nigeria. Red Flag! He claimed he wanted to be sure it was resolved and asked if I would allow him to sign in via remote.I told him I was all set and hung up. Next day, another call from this number with caller ID showing Microsoft Spearl and because I was not sure if it was legit I asked questions. The woman told me her name was Georgia and gave me a case number that didn't match what I had recorded. I hug up. Next day another call from same number same caller ID asking if they could check on whether or not their level 2 team could check on my issues. He gave me a case number, again, it did not match my original. Told him I felt he was scamming me and hung up. Tried to report this to one of MS security sites but it was set up for phishing emails.I hope this gets reported to Microsoft for their attention and action to prevent it.

- ChandlerThis number called me 6 times around 2 in the morning just now. I answered on the last call and it was a woman who didn't speak English. I informed her I didn't understand what she was saying and she just said the same thing in the same tone. Seems like a scam call for another country that somehow got to me but I'm not really sure.
