I do in fact try this first-doesn't always work with more unscrupulous callers-but it is hard to believe-it is not in their benefit to keep calling if you don't want them to-it is if they are still trying to get someone-mercy-unlimited times is of a benefit to them-but not someone that is saying a firm NO from the getgo Some like the continuing drama in their life to continue their angst. Case in point-I don't answer unknown numbers-EVER-if someone I know just won a million or died-someone will leave a message-REALLY-never fails
