- notabuffoon replies to SteveI just had a call from this number. On my Blackberry, I just added the number to my contacts with a name starting with zzzz (to join all the rest of the bozos). I then set a custom ringtone to silent, vibrate to off, LED notification to off. If they call again, I won't know it.
- JeffD replies to nortinnhsounds like you need a a new calling plan or a new carrier with unlimited domestic long distance .... and call blocking capability to boot.
- GC replies to DTThank you so much for this info, DT. It worked great.
- Roger LawryThese jerks call me incessantly on my cellphone. They are some type of marketing company.
- Caller: Matt with Home Security
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Gene MajkaCalls twice a day with no message x two weeks.
- KelliThey'll hang up if you just sing "Call Me Maybe"* to them when you pick up the phone.
*Would probably work with any song.- Caller: Home Security

- DawnI got a call from 425-658-8839 and 425-658-8817. Both were from the same person trying to sell me a home security system. I told them we have one and don't want to change. He kept on trying so I hung up. Then he called from a different number. I am on the do not call list and I have reported him.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Tim CarrierThis number is used as a robo-dialing marketing scheme to bend the rules of the telemarketing laws. These so called "reps" screen potential customers this way and after verifying somebody is actually interested in purchasing a home security system (actually a security system designed for industrial business and not for home owners) they will have a franchise in your local area call you to set up an appointment for installation.
If you live in the North Carolina/South Carolina area the alarm company using these cheap tactics is ISI Alarms of Mooresville, NC. They are directly linked to the 425-390-8156 that has hundreds of similar complaints and this company also has many complaints through the BBB of advertising and sales issues related to their telemarketing practices.
Play along but don't give out any confidential information and have them have a real business call you back. Once you have an identifiable business, let them know you are sick and tired of these harassing calls.- Caller: telemarketer

- TomLike everyone else, several calls a day to my cell phone and if you answer its some guy from "Home Security", or nobody there.
Just a bunch of bottom feeders. Sure, the calls are annoying, but on the other hand they have to live every single day knowing they are pathetic scumbags.- Caller: Home Security
- Call type: Telemarketer
- ohiophonegirlrec'd 2 calls to my cell phone today from this number, they left no message.
- Caller: unknown
- MaryThis guy keeps on calling using different names and I've answered and my husband has answered on our cell phones and on the house phone and told him we ain't interested in an alarm syatem and he just keeps on calling!
- Caller: Alarm System
- KT replies to Sam PamNormally I'm against this (as usually they're fairly nice people just trying to make some money to feed themselves...perhaps I'm too nice...) but the people behind this number are the most obnoxious I've ever dealt with. I'm (like some other commenters) on the do-not-call list. This number specifically makes it feel like I'm not, calling dozens of times within the last two weeks.
So by all means, let us all blast air horns at them. They need to stop. - StingrayJG replies to jansenrThis is a good idea, I do it also. My cell phone gives me the option to add them to a rejected list so if they call back again the phone will not ring at all. So they can only get me once but never again. The only thing still negative about this is I still have to clear out the "2 seconds of silence and then hang up" voicemails they constantly leave. It's still a pain but not nearly as bad as when every call would ring through. That's a lot less disturbing then the phone ringing every time.
- sharWhy is this company calling me? I live in Ohio.
- Caller: unknown
- MarhoStop calling !!!!!! Why is it when your get on the national do not call list for telemarketing companys and scam I get more calls on my cell phone ........Will you please stop calling......

If you don't have sprint, go to your carrier web site and find out how to block numbers. - Phil LatioI get calls every so often from that number and they never leave a message. I never answer I just let it go to voice mail.
