It's the Republicans in Congress who did this. They made it legal for cell phone companies to sell your phone number I believe. Ever since this new law went through, I've been flooded with phone calls. More reason to vote on an Independent party.

Two words apply to this crap...CALL BLOCK. I have a set of Panasonic DECT cordless phones that allow the phone itself to hold 30 blocked numbers. The phone rings once, the phone detects a blocked number, shows CALLER BLOCKED and disconnects, gives the calling side a busy tone. Sounds like a line error to them and so far some have stopped calling. Not pushing Panasonic but I know they have this feature on many of their phones, other brands likely do as well. I was able to drop the $6 a month my telco charged me to block a lousy 12 numbers and now I have 30 and it's zero cost other than the cost of the phones. My set ties in both of our cellphones too so it blocks the same numbers calling our cellphones while the phones are within 30 feet of the base unit. KX-TG7640 series (I got the TG7645 set) and I think the KX-TG7620 series does the same as well.

My phone will only block 12 numbers. To get around this I was able to create a group that I set the ringtone off and vibrate off.  When ever one of these type of calls come in I assign them a name like telemarketer1 and put them in my group.  Whenever they call I don't know about it until I look at my phone and see there was a missed call.

Please stop calling!!! I have asked numerous times!!!

If you are getting calls from the a*holes just block their calls. They are not going to stop if you tell them they have the wrong number, send them them a certified letter, report them to do not call list or report them to your attorney general.
If you have a home phone all you need to do is get a phone with caller id block. Uniden and Panasonic make them now. The uniden I have does not even ring once, just blocks their calls. If they call on your cell and you do not have caller id block, just save them as a contact and set their ringtone to no ring.

Same thing happened to me. I filed a complaint with the DNC registry regarding multiple daily calls from 503-902-8279 yesterday. Today I get a call from this random number.

Number called again/No message/I am on no call list/time for congress to do something about these calls!

4 calls in three hours this is insane, no messages and I don't answer.

Call is recorded telemarketing message with credit card offer. Have recieved mutliple calls from this number of the last couple of months. Make it stop!!!!

This goddamn number calls me 2-3 times a day. Never leaves a voicemail. Annoyed.

This number keeps appearing on my cell phone, very annoying.  Why don't they just leave a message or stop calling the same number numerous times.

I just answered this call and it was Home Security One. I asked them not to call this number again and told them I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST. A Man named Matt apologized and I hung up. I shall see if my request is respected. I suggest answering it and asking to be taken off their list.

if you call back and press 1 it says you will be put on the company's do not call list. Hope this helps.

I've gotten calls from both of those numbers too! the 425 number has called me 5 times today! 4 in the past 2 hours!

Damn people think you have to answer your damn phone all the time-read the one answer-great idea-give a silent ringtone to them. They have nothing to do with you getting a call from your family-nothing! Nor from the IRS-or the hospital. DON't ANSWER-bunch of cry babies-if they want to call you-and they are running illegal anyway-they will call you. Many are offshore and incredibly hard to investigate or prosecute

Oh please-we have all had family in the military-some no longer with us-and these calls CANNOT in any way affect that call. You just stop thinking you need to talk to everybody and IGNORE the call-it is so easy. They will not comply with the DNC list BECAUSE they are running illegal operations-often offshore-hard to track down. You probably also expect the government to do everything else for you. Received 5 calls from this number today.  Not once did the caller leave a message.  Caller ID shows "DIRECT ACCESS".

I too get continuous phone calls from 425-658-8839, amongst others, and I just now sent them a text message to their phone telling them to please STOP!!! They think all we have to do all day is answer their calls...it's rediculous!!! So many times they have interupted our dinners, and made us run inside while we were tending to our gardens...They need to get a real life, real job and leave us all alone!!!

This is not a phone number most persons seem to care to receive.   Washington State seems to be the main problem for these " TELEMARKETER CALLS".   Maybe it will stop once the November election is over.
