Spoofed Numbers: Caution, 480-271-1861 is a "spoofed" number, which means that whoever called you "tricked" your caller ID to display an incorrect phone number...we can thank technology for their ability to do that.  It does no good to report them because the number doesn't actually exist. Scammers do this to avoid being caught violated DNC list.  This one claims you've wont a cruise...what they REALLY want is your credit card # or other banking info so they can rob you blind.

Remember: NO LEGITIMATE company will ever violate the DNC list. Charities, opinion polls, political candidates and/or any company with which you already have a relationship MAY legally call you. But  anyone else who calls you is a scammer. Block the number if you can. If you can't, just don't answer calls from numbers you don't recognize.

Called my cell. I didn't answer and they left no message.

If you have a smart phone download the free app Avast Mobile Security and save the number under SMS and Call Filter. The phone won't ring.

Thank you for posting the website so I can file a complaint against them. They called me 15 times so far starting at 8:20 p.m. until so far 8:30 p.m.. At first I picked it up to listen to what was being said by the pre recorded message and they were also calling me on my call waiting at the same time! I am on the Do Not Call list and I feel that something should be done to these idiots that abuse our phones with unwanted calls. We are on the Do Not Call list for a reason and these people should pay every single time they call an unwanted number instead of charging us on our bill for the phone call. What happened to our right to privacy to determine who is allowed to call our home and who isn't. We do not have it listed, and now they are also allowed to call your cell phones as well, it's not fair to us. If they can't play with the phones the right way then someone should take the phone away from them. I don't want to listen to a pre recording while I am trying to get dinner on the table or getting ready for bed and I certainly don't want to listen to them lie that I won a trip to the Bahamas!

I just received a call from this number and so annoying!  I am at work and do not need this on my cell, happens too often!

Your response is partially correct...point is, the FTC and FCC are useless like the rest of this corrupt ,scandalous government who impose fines on these companies. Their fines are just extra income to this government. Why should they stand in the way of these companies?
The FTC is so INCOMPETANT  that they offered $50,000 (of OUR tax dollars) to anyone who can stop these calls! Don't believe me ... Google "FTC offers $50,000 to stop calls" DO IT! Someone collected on that offer and yet the calls still come!
As far as telling you how to file lawsuits against these folks,  according to my copy, you have to find a lawyer, hire a lawyer, file in your state.. blah blah blah... So I sent all my documents and a whole legal pad full of numbers, dates, and times to my state attorney general office..nothing!!! When I called their office they told me they had forwarded all of my information to the State Department of Consumer Affairs! And round and round it goes.
I HAVE ALL BUT STOPPED THE CALLS TO MY HOME. I DON'T ANSWER ANY CALLS THAT ARE NOT FAMILIAR TO ME. I UNPLUGGED MY ANSWERING MACHINE AND LET THE PHONE RING. EVENTUALLY THEY STOP CALLING. >>>>MOST IMPORTANT<<<< I DO NOT CALL THEM BACK TO TAKE MY NUMBER OFF THEIR LIST. THAT JUST LET'S THEM KNOW THAT YOUR NUMBER IS A WORKING NUMBER! IF YOU DO THAT YOU WILL RECEIVE MORE PHONE THAN EVER.

It's a phishing scam. Do not pick up and do not call them back. That just lets them know that your number works. I do not answer any calls from numbers I don't recognize. If it's important, they'll leave a voicemail.  Let all your family and friends know that you won't pick up if they're calling from another number but that they need to leave a voicemail. I've been doing it this way for years and haven't missed anything important. If you get a prepaid phone, you can block the numbers from your phone. If you have a cell phone from a major carrier, such as Verizon, Sprint, or T-Mobile, you can log into your account and block the numbers by adding them to a list. For those that can't figure out how to block them and need the phone on but don't want to be bothered by the calls, you can save the number to your phone and set the ringer to No Ring or Vibrate for that phone number. Be sure to remove any customized voicemail messages and use only the standard greeting with your phone number. Your customized voicemail message gives it away that the number is in use. Good luck!

Got a call on my cell from this number.  The called ID just said "Arizona".  I don't know anyone in Arizona, so didn't answer.  They gave up after only 2 rings, and left no message.  Obviously the REALLY needed to talk to me!  Losers!

Just received a phone call from this number. Man kept asking to speak with my wife and stating that she had been sleeping with his girlfriend. I kept asking him for his name, but he would not tell me. Only that he had caught my wife fingering his girlfriend in their bathroom sitting on the toilet. I *69 the phone call after he hung up, but call does not go through. Anyone else had this same thing happen?
