- RadioSusanowaGoDaddy calls me from this number at least once a month. Never leaves a message, but always answers (recorded voice messaging system) when I call back. It's their sales team wanting to enhance my existing service with them.
I wish they'd simply let me opt out of cold calls. Or they'd leave a message. Or stop bothering me with this nonsense.- Caller: GoDaddy.com

- 480-505-8859| 1 replyIf this 480-505-8859 number that keeps popping up on my CID is Godaddy and they are being so ethical, then why can't this web company put up a page reference and explain what they are doing. They should also leave a voicemail stating that it is them and what the purpose for the call is. If it's a legitimate call, then Godaddy is at fault for not doing these things and being straight forward. I guarantee if they did these few basic courtesies instead, there wouldn't be 90% of these complaints, confusion, and annoyed solicited people here. On the other hand, if it isn't actually Godaddy, then they need to say so in a reference/help page. They could easily open a thread or help page and squash this either way. I say screw Godaddy. Personally, I have been a customer of theirs for years and own more than a dozen domains, and never had these problems when Bob Parsons owned the company. Ever since he sold the company about a year ago, I've been getting these strange hang up calls with what sounds like people talking and moving things around on a desk all on my voicemail. It's unsolited and they really need to knock it off or atleast do it in a more regulated straightforward professional way.

- openuris replies to mrs meeeXO is a major national phone carrier. Millions of phone numbers are registered to XO. Same as ATT or Sprint, or Verizon, or any major carrier. It doesn't mean that carrier is calling you. There is no phone registry that identifies the end user unless they have a listing in the white or yellow pages. Those phone lookups identify the owner of the phone number, which 99% of the time is a network. Whether the number is godaddy or not, your advice and logic is completely nonsense.
- BhausahebMy Domain registered in not completed please tel me about how to registered and i pay the money but not proper complete registered please tel me.

- Are you kidding replies to 480-505-8859This is the most assinine suggestion. Saying not having a web page devoted to your unanswered call unethical? Does your doctors office have a web page devoted to their appointment confirmation calls? Regulate sales calls? Nanny-state here we come with that attitude. Oh, by the way, I too got the call the day after buying a domain from them. It's called marketing and it's the cornerstone of the free market. you may not buy products in the aftersell, but obviously someone does or they would not do it.
- Kurt HierholzerI just confirmed with GoDaddy themselves. This is their number. They call people when they set up a new account, as a courtesy.

- KyleIt's GoDaddy for sure. They called me the next day after I purchased a domain for my comedy podcast.
Really cool guy, a great follow up, even asked me about my podcast.
Of course with the intentions of possibly selling me more products/services, I kindly declined and it was still a great call!
Customer service for the win!
