- godaddy customer replies to DugalYeah, GoDaddy is terrible with this stuff - upgrades, spend more for this and that, with slow service. HUGE regret I signed on with them!
- ROSIEIt is GoDaddy customer service calling to go over your website. They just want to sell you more stuff. It's annoying...they call every day...i quit answering their calls. If i want to update the website, i will do so.

- HI received a hang up call. I do use their service, but see no reason to hang up so can only think that they want to verify that my number is still being used, which further makes me suspect that they are "selling" the number

- John| 1 replyWhen we got a call from this company we thought it was a bit suspicious so we contacted GoDaddy directly. The person I talked to directly from GoDaddy told me that they did not have this number listed as one of their own phone numbers. "This number is not listed as a GoDaddy number", he said. Our company decided that it was either phishing attempt or someone trying to get extra money trying to pretend to be Godaddy and go the work for us. After talking to GoDaddy they recommend that if you want anything done with your GoDaddy account that you should go to them directly.

- NicoleI have received a few calls from this number. They leave messages about my domain, but I do not have any godaddy registered domains, and I never give out my work cell number for registration.

- MichaelFeb. 19, 2018 - got a live rep call from GoDaddy from 480-505-8859, regarding 2 domains I have registered through GoDaddy which expire in 90 days. The guy said the call may be recorded for training purposes. I said I don't agree to that. He said that then he could not continue the call. I said ok, and asked him not to call me again, and hung up.

- dan_house replies to Wow people... chill outI registered several domain names thru godaddy late March.
for 2 weeks afterwards my fone rang non-stop from folks who culled my fone number and email given to GoDaddy as part of that process, offereing services.
LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR: I do this tuff for a living, dont need your help. IF I needed hlpe, Id have asked for it.I still get emails from companies and calls from company
Whats annoying is: They call, dont leave a message. Theyve got my email (which sees godaddy mail), and I dont need/wnat to talk to them.
What's annnoying is GoDaddy has enabled spammers to attack my fone, my email with services I dont need or wnat.
IF they were so gung ho about informing me of services they offer, why dont they leave a voice mail? why dont they offer these on the website? why werent these serviced mentioned at the time I secured the Domain names? - HristoHad recently renewed website domain name registrations with GoDaddy. This number called and left a voicemail saying they were GoDaddy and asking if they can be of any further assistance to call them. Seems like a legit call for a reasonable reason.

- ChristinaCalled by GoDaddy telling me Google now requires an SSL certificate or they will flag my site as unsafe. Fine. Flag it. There is nothing on it but text and photos. Most of my visitors don't "search" for my site anyway. They already know the address. I told them if I was going to have an issue I should just cancel my website. They said to just let my visitors from Google know they might get a warning. The site is safe, whatever.

- JohnHere's the golden rule - GoDaddy or not. You don't leave a message so I can identify you, you get BLOCKED. Very simple.
- AlbertI have 1 rule. If you call and dont leave a message, I block you. Guess what happened with this number.... :)

- JayThey called me every day w/ no message left. I looked up the phone #, came to this website, read all the posts. Then I called them, talked to a nice person and politely asked they take me off the list. That's it. The person on the other end, thanked me for being so polite. Simply put some good forward everyone...it's not that hard. If they end up calling again, then repeat the above kindness and chalk it up to "human error". It happens. If it happens a third time, then I guess I'll be "that guy". (insert shrug here). Put some good out everyone, and you might be surprised as to what returns to you. Thanks for reading.
