I got this call today on my company phone, where they left a message. I am not convinced this is Go Daddy. It was a recording, where my name was never mentioned, even incorrectly by a computer. The female voice in the recording sounded EXACTLY like the gal that was so excited to award me an all expenses paid cruise where "breakfast, lunch, and dinner are... FREE!" in other occasional spam calls that actually leave a phone message.

I have had that happen also.  It is kind of funny seeing your own number come up.

I cannot figure out the big deal here.  I get calls from GoDaddy.  We all know they are not scammers -- marketers, perhaps, but not scammers.  They usually have examined my account and point out a deadline (upcoming cancellation) I might have missed.  They are invariably polite, and once the call is complete, the company sends a survey by email to give you the chance to say so if you disagree.  They generally don't call people who are not already customers.  If you are bugged by a decent company, I cannot imagine how you might react to the real jerks who have computers call you every day.  THAT is my gripe.  Move over to HostGator.  Then you will see what indifference feels like.

Called. Left no message. Without a message, I will consider this unimportant, but note: A couple of days ago I received a call from Go Daddy trying to sell me products. The timing of their call was bad and I asked them to call back another time. Might have been Go Daddy, but they could have identified themselves. by leaving a voice mail, so assuming it was for sales purposes.

It's godaddy. They are calling customers who are on their old version 6 platform because they are getting rid of that platform and replacing it with version 7. They want to make sure that people's websites are not deleted when they are switching over. They do have multiple numbers depending on who in their call center is calling. I called their main number back and asked about this number and they confirmed it is one of their switch numbers.

Identity theft is scary but this time it really is the company.

This phone number is GoDaddy number. If you have a GoDaddy account and they are calling you, you should probably return the call to see what they have to update you about. Especially if you actually use your site for business.

Pretty sure this a legit call from GoDaddy. I just registered for hosting two days ago and have gotten three calls, none of which I've answered.

I figure it's Godaddy, because they are the only ones who call me from 480. There's good reason for them to call, as we actually did a complex transaction last week, so it could be them. I declined the call.

It appears to be GoDaddy - however, I do not have an account with them or any dealings whatsoever. They left a message asking for me to call back and verify my account details - obviously, I didn't... feels like a scam to me

Nine calls and I don't think it's GODADDY.  We renew our website online and have no problem with the real company by that name.  This number is blocked by the free call blocker.  Look at the 31 pages of complaints.  It is not the real McCoy,

So.. is this where everybody's hanging out?!  Cool!
Who knows who it is.  I don't answer, they don't leave a message.  I've had two calls today, about 4 in May, and another bunch last Dec.  I am a GoDaddy customer, tho, so maybe that's where they filched my number.

Yes, it's unreasonable.  If I want contact with my host, I'll call them.  Otherwise they can accomplish what they want with an email.
