These people call saying my domain is not activated and want $20 to activate this.

Received a call from this number. I called the C/S number posted on the GoDaddy site. They informed me that it was a legit GoDaddy number. I put call type as "event reminder" because it was time to renew my domain.

This is GoDaddy sales. They have always used this sales pitch that they want to do an account overview, but the real deal is this is a sales call, and they never stop. They have harassed me for so many years with this strategy. It's one of the many reasons I can't stand them.

Please do not call me.

They called us and asked for our PIN number. When asked why, they stated they couldn't tell us until we gave them the PIN number first. I told them to f**k off, we don't give out security information over the phone unless we initiate the call. Then I reported them to GoDaddy for asking for security details.

Go to https://account.godaddy.com/preferences, and switch off the Phone Calls option.

This number definitely belongs to GoDaddy.  They called to follow up with my account.  I had a feature I was not using and they wanted to make certain I was aware of that and sent me info on how to use it.

XO Arizona is the name of the phone company that serves this block of phone numbers to GoDaddy.  GoDaddy would not call you without giving you confidence that they (the caller) are the real deal.  They would have no problem with you calling them back to complete the conversation.

You should xxxx must never give your PIN to anyone who calls you.  This would allow the scammer to call in to GoDaddy impersonating you (by spoofing your Caller ID) and giving your PIN and causing all kinds of havoc at your expense.  If GoDaddy wants to talk to you they will invite you to call them back at their listed phone number.

Call was blocked by the roboguy.  I guess it has had so many complaints that it's on the SHEET LIST.

FYI. I've after IDing the number here as Godaddy, I lookined into my account options. There is a switch to remove phone calls from your 'how may we contact you' list. Inc ase anyone was wodnering.

That doesn't necessarily mean much.  It's pretty common to get phone number blocks for large call centers and they may have an outgoing number different from the main switchboard.

My husband called me saying to call go daddy back at the 480-505-8859. They wanted my pin number ( my husband doesn't know it). I smelled something fishy because it was not the number they have for customer service, also they never call and ask for my pin out of the blue! In fact they never call me at all!  If I have a problem I call them. So I looked the number up and read some of the complaints about the number. I am very curious as to why every few entries are people defending the number as being go daddy. If the number is real then why the hell are they on this page at all,and attacking the people who say it is a scam! That in itself shows the number is a scam! If the number was real then nobody would have to defend it aka the scammer hoping people wouldn't figure it out.  Don't be fooled. Your here because you know something is wrong to begin with.
