Play it safe. If your cold called hang up and call directly! It's too easy to SPOOF caller id and IMPERSONATE any company these days.

Yes this is definitely GoDaddy. I just bought a domain name and web hosting from them and when I called the number it was them.

Interesting...just got a call from this number, which seems like a misdial. Message left referred to someone that was not me, they identified themselves as http://www.shleppers.com/ (the moving company), said they were returning an inquiry, and said to call them back at 212-223-4004 (Schleppers company line). Definitely was not GoDaddy, fyi.

This just happened to me too.  I just purchased 2 domain names with GoDaddy and got a call from this number.  I did not answer and they did not leave a message.  I'll be blocking the number.  I appreciate this site!

Got a call from Arizona today. Picked it up and it hung up. Called back and it was GoDaddy. With all the scams out there I didn't want to give any info. I just asked why they'd be calling me. He couldn't answer without me giving account number or domain. Told him I'll look into my account and call them back from home from whatever number is on the website. Rather be safe than sorry.

repeated calls from this number.......no message left.....annoying

2 calls per day for the past three weeks. Wont identify themselves, won't leave a message. On callback, it is Go Daddy.

no, theyre not. you did business with them. there is a expectation of followup and terms to that effect are 99.9% of time spelled out. thats a ridiculous statement

I just called Godaddy's number off their website and they confirmed that this was a legit phone call from them. I wish I didn't have a scroll to the bottom of this thread to see that this is a real number, I was pretty much a jerk to the guy on the phone while I was looking up his number and scanning the first few comments while I was answering the call and initially talking to him.

Better to be safe than sorry.  It's too easy for scammers to spoof legitimate numbers in order to get personal, financial information out of called parties.

My bill is paid in full for 5 years. 6 months in i got harassed daily By this number. It is a number just for the website business. i turned off the phone sound and screen calls now professionals leave message hi im I.T. guy go to website "so so" see my work. will work for X fee. Those are fine. Some Are go daddy sales rep trying to peddle what iv no need of. i learn not from business phone but web mail they send aside from sales call attempts with no message very unprofessional with piggy back and net scams on the loose. will transfer my URL by Year 4.5 if no server Reliant by then. Bottom feeder service. Will not recommend to others. I seek to please my clients to keep them not annoy.

This number called me in the AM then the PM.  It really was Godaddy!  I have a Godaddy website.  They had my credit card number and read me the last 5 digits.  Why they do not use a phone that shows Godaddy on the caller ID is beyond me.  They did not leave me a message either but auto dialers are probably not going to leave messages,
