- www.schaumburgcrazywrapgirl.com| 1 replyThey have called a few times without leaving messages. I finally picked up. Took a while as he kept saying: Hi, Barbara..." And all I would say was "How can I help you?" He finally ID'd as being with godaddy.com saying my renewal is due. This was a legit call, at least for me. Won't give a CC out to an incoming call, but told him I would go online.

- anonymousThey've called twice in the past 15 minutes. I just don't answer.. they don't leave messages. I'm sure it's a telemarketer.
- dragonI just don't understand if this is legit or not. Until I got calls from this number Go Daddy ALWAYS left a message. I get calls from this number at least once a week. Even after reading this I'm still unsure if it's legit. Some people say calls from this number do leave voice mail or there is someone on the other end others say no voice mail and no one on the other end if answered.
I still haven't decided to block it or not. I can't tell if someone is spamming their number. - BBI received a call at 3:53PM on 05/31/16. I didn't answer and no voice mail left... SPAM!!!

- Jen replies to Mike| 1 replyUm, no, the photo that shows up on your cell phone when someone calls is the photo that you have stored in YOUR cellphone for that number. The reason the photo was you is because you have (or had) facebook on your phone and it is associated with that phone number so your phone put that photo in the contacts list with that number. You can't send a photo to someone that will show up on their cell phone while it's ringing. That's not how it works.

- BillYes, it's GoDaddy. Glad to be able to check here quickly and see that before I answered. Yes, I do business with them, but normally call them. Not really a bad thing that they try to keep you informed as a customer. Not really an UnWanted call, Unexpected yes. And Danica Patrick is still a beautiful woman spokesperson for them. Driving skills...well, hope we get to see her win someday! LOL

- EFIt's an automated message from GoDaddy. If you have accounts with them they do these calls as customer service follow up. Just ask them not to add you to that list.

- Tom| 1 replyDefinitely this is GoDaddy. First I looked here and saw a backlog of years of paranoia and ranting. If this were a scam, then logically the phone number would have been shut down before so many years and so many postings were made suspicious of a scam.
Nevertheless, I contacted GoDaddy via their main phone number and confirmed that (480) 505-8859 is used by GoDaddy's customer development team. For anyone who has even a shred of doubt, I suggest you do the same.- Caller: GoDaddy

- Tygerkat replies to TomConsidering how easy it is to spoof a phone number, exactly HOW do you think this number "would have been shut down"?
- DaleIt's GoDaddy.Com sales. I have a domain with them for my weather station. They call 6 to 10 times a week since at least last year in my case. I treat it like any and all other calls I get..... if it's important then whoever is calling will leave a message. If the caller can't leave a message then they don't get a call back from me. Especially numbers that aren't in my contact list. Many calls that are from unknown numbers are simply trying to see if the number is a valid, real person's number by them picking up and saying hello. Numbers not in my contacts list don't get answered!
