I worked for that company for 2 days, 5 years ago, Absolutely hated it.But, I was able to learn enough to enable my friends and family to be taken off of ALL survey company lists, If the people complaining are too stupid to get off of the calling list after all these posts then that is their problem.Btw some of the people calling you are sitting in wheelchairs.Very classy whistle.
It would take less time for you to say I am not interested, please take me off of your calling list than to respond here clue. But you would rather complain than doing something proactive.

    Just Wondering

If I,as an individual called someone numerous times to ask his/her opinion it would legally be harrassment. Why is a research company allowed to do exactly that? They are not breaking the law but it makes no sense.I'm guessing that because powerful companies want market research the laws are different.

To say something like that you must have been dropped on your head as a baby. Or maybe your parents are also your aunt and uncle.

I would guess you are probably right on your assumption about big business.  Most of the laws in this country are dictated by corporations.  I hate it as well.  It's only getting worse.

If you think they are scammers than tell us how they have still maintained their business without being busted. You obviously know not of which you speak.

Unfortunately you will not get far if you choose to go after the company. Most likely if you do your homework and collect the required evidence you may be able to have them fined for a small amount.

OK, Dumbass it is FCC not FTC. Read the rules and regulations (found on their website) before you try acting like you know what you are talking about.

    employee also...
1- READ PREVIOUS POSTS ON THIS LOG BEFORE POSTING....please.
2- Wow, I read the last four pages, and really I am amazed at the amount of times things have been repeated and people still don't get it.
    3- Yes I work there.
4- Do I like it?... some days, I have had people do surveys that were sooo nice it brought tears to my eyes, I have had people do surveys that were so stupid I was hitting myself in the head (literally, while by boss looked at me like wtf?), I have had people smart enough to let me get through the survey but have really know impact on me, AND I have had people so mean I actually went on break drove my car around the corner and cried. I have talked to people in Florida, New York, Texas, Hawaii. And honestly the only thing I can say is did I think I would be doing this job? No. Do I need this job? yes. I get a paycheck every week, not much  pay scale is minimum wage-$10 per an hour based on your completes day by day averaged out by the week. Does it pay my bills? yes. Does it put food on my table? yes. Does it buy me gas? yes.
--- Not that anyone cares what it is like on our side of the phone, I do want you to know I care what it is like on your side of the phone... example- Interviewer "Introductions".  You " I am sorry I am busy I am cooking dinner, got the baby in one hand."  (dog barking in the background) Me "I totally understand, when would be a better time? You don't know? Okay would it be okay if we just try back in a couple days?"

simple, ALTHOUGH I DOUGHT ANYONE WILL TAKE A MINUTE TO READ IT AS I SEE THEY DIDN'T READ THE VERY INFORMATIVE PAGE (very long lol) ABOUT TWO PAGES BACK.

I am not a criminal just a working class citizen, if what we were doing was illegal do you really thing we would be in business still? Try some common sense people. Yes it sucks when we call late, yes it sucks when we call early and yes my fav. question "DO YOU KNOW THAT ITS SUNDAY?" duh I am at work I am pretty sure I am required to know what days I work, yes it sucks that we are calling you on Sunday, but think about it wouldn't it suck MORE if YOU had to WORK on Sunday? Also, if you are soooo religious I wonder why is it okay for you to be so mean just because it is Sunday? Does it being Sunday mean that god says you can be an [***]? I thought you were supposed to be nicer if you are all religious and stuff. We never ask for your credit card numbers ect. blah blah blah, I do not work for a collection agency, and some questions are much harder for me to ask than for you to answer, seriously do you think I want to ask your race? Do you think I cringe waiting to see if you are gonna get all PO'ed and hang up?

BY THE WAY IF YOU DON'T FINISH THE SURVEY IT IS POINTLESS AS WE THEN DO NOT USE IT JUST THROW IT AWAY... gosh

What else can I say? I really don't care that this is long after all this time of listening to the opinions of others and their games, and fax machines pushing buttons in my ear, oh yea I think I am partially deaf in one ear and I am not even in my mid-twenty's (thanks)

I guess I better go to bed so that I can go to my "fake job" as you call it. Ha ha get a real job? seriously? I am pretty sure anybody is lucky to have any kind of job at this point... Oh and for you freaken idiots that say "The economy is fine" "The economy is going in the right direction" f**k off try being poor, it sucks and no most jobs that were any good when I got out of school were taken by people  who were supposed to be retired... Thanks again for the great start in life.

If anybody took the time to read this Thank YOU, also I do have a life so I probably won't be back to check on it, so its pretty pointless to "REPLY" to my post.
    Good night.

PS- Bernett has there own website go look at it, pretty interesting

    @Employee Also
Get a job where you don't have to harass people by phone.  Your job ranks down there in public opinion with debt collectors, drug dealers, and general low life scumbags.  Nobody gives a dang that you're deaf in one ear.  And you're far too vain not to come back to see the responses to your smug little diatribe.  Get an education and find a career doing something with some kind of redeeming value.

I am an employee at Bernett Research, and all I'm going to say to these complaints is that it's not our fault, and it makes no sense for people to take all of this out on the interviewers. We need jobs so we can make money so we can pay our bills, just like everyone else. As you can imagine it's not the funnest job in the world, and when we are calling you late, it means we are having to work late too. We have no control over how many times you are called, what time you're called at, or any of the other things you're complaining about. We follow the rules, and do what we're told because that is our job. So the next time you get a call please keep that in mind.

Since you don't have any control of who you call, you should add your home numbers along with all the numbers of people you know including the personal numbers of the one who hired you. See how they like it to get your bs calls :-)
