Apparently Bernett Research doesn't bother to check the NATIONAL Do Not Call list as they called me at 7PM on a Monday. Didn't even wait for the machine to pick up; four rings and they hung up.

Next time answer our questions and we wont call back.

Some woman called wanting to ask me a few questions regarding my NEW Home Equity loan.  That of course immediately sent up a major RED flag since -I'm the one who does ALL the financial dealings in our house.  I knew for a fact that neith myself or my husband had opened a HELOC so I asked her why she was calling me, she told me that she was just calling the numbers she'd been given and had no other information. I then hung up and called my mortgage company to inquire on my account and they said things were normal, but to check with the credit bureaus.

Employee, maybe you should check the Do Not Call list, considering it is illegal to call people at undesired times of the day, at work, or on the DNC list.

Shouldn't matter if they don't answer your survey, you're not supposed to call. I can't wait till someone does a *57 on yous.

THESE PEOPLE ARE TELEMARKETER'S SCAMS POSING AS MARKET RESEARCHERS ASKING FOR FINANIAL INFO TO SEND TO COLLECTION AGENCIES AND SCAMMER. THEY THANK EVERYBODY IS HAVING FINANCIAL PROBLEMS. THEY HAVE THE SAME LINE OF QUESTIONS.

This company has called several times, even though I am on both the National Do Not Call Registry and the PA Do Not Call list.  I filed a complaint with both the National and PA lists.

I found the e mail of a Bernyce Hayes (bernyce.hayes@bernett.com) who is the founder of Bernett Research and I sent her the following e mail....

Bernet research has been calling my home at all hours of the day and night and I checked online to see if other people are complaining and their are several websites with complaints...I have notified the no call registry and reported the harassment and after the 31st of January if the phone calls persist I will have a formal complaint and hopefully I will not have to pursue any judgments against the company if they stop harassing at that time.

I have given fair warning and I will do what I have to do to end these harrassing calls and maybe other people that are being harrassed with do the same.

Great now its my turn. This number has called me like 8 times in the last 2 days. I dont answer call when i dont recognize the number, so i decided to do a search on it and i found this site(and several others). I am on the do not call registry.

I keep recieving calls from this number and its really irritating.

Received phone call at 8:00 pm on Thursday, February 26, 2009.  Didn't recognize the caller & let call go into answering maching.  After the greeting the caller hung up.  I googled the phone number & found out the phone number is that of Bernett Research a survey company.  Our phone number is registered with the "Do Not Call Registry" but they still called!

They call all the time and ask to do a short survey I started to listen then it was asking for credit card info to give you money for filling it out some sort of credit I think it is some kind of extortion scam. I don't want your money let alone want to answer questions about [***].

A few days before Saturday, 3/7/09, my landline was rung with the caller ID displaying: “BERNETT RSCH 503-334-1620”. We screened the call and didn’t answer the first two times; the caller didn’t leave a message. In the meantime, a friend informed us they had included us on an application for providing volunteer help to emotionally-impaired persons and that we may receive a call to verify their character to perform the volunteer work. I redialed the number and received a recording saying we were selected to participate in a survey and I was welcomed to leave a message if I desired. I left a messaged stating that my telephone number was on the National DO NOT CALL Registry and also on the Missouri DO NOT CALL List and that their call was unsolicited. I also informed them, the State of Missouri prosecutes those persons/businesses that repeatedly call after being informed that their telephone number is on the “Do Not Call List”; I then disconnected from the call.
From after the time I made the callback to their number, my telephone rang three different times within a short time period. I screened the first two times and answered the third call (3/7/09 @ 1637CST). I did not hear anyone on the line; it sounded like the automated system didn’t connect properly. I consider their calling as harassment and have filed a complaint at www.DoNotCall.gov.

Another unsolicited screened call was received from Bernett Rsch on 3/8/09 @ 1203CST.
