This is a message, saying they are the IRS needing funds to settle a suit.

I received a voicemail message stating that I was being sued by the "internal Revenue Services."   When I attempted to return the call, I received a constant busy signal.

I got the same call on 06-25-15 and found the message on my answer machine. I called back and left a message that they could call back and I would put them in direct contact with my attorney. This should stop them from calling back, hopefully. Hate scams! Total dirtbags.

The IRS would make contact by mail. Any professional organization that has a beef with you would name the person they are trying to contact, would include the name of the caller in their message, and a case number. This silly recorded message was so ambiguous and out of the blue - it was clearly a scam.

That they was from the IRS and going to file a lawsuit. and needed to get back in touch with them at this number.

5/29/15 recv'd call & voice msg after I declined call.

Same as the others.  Recorded message says this is the last attempt by the IRS to contact me and they are filing a lawsuit.  I just laughed and hung up.  Scammers........

They said we were being audited.

Thanks to all for confirming what I was sure of. A communication from someone calling themselves the IRS is hard to ignore and bears looking into even if it sounds rediculous.

This call is clearly a scam. The grammar isn't quite right, and if you listen, they say "Internal Revenue Services" instead of "Service".  If you ever get a call from someone claiming to be from the IRS, it's best to inform them that you need to verify that the call is legitimate, hang up and follow the instructions found at http://www.irs.gov/uac/Report-Phishing

Received second voice mail from 509-320-4239 stating they are from the IRS and this is our last notification or they will sue us.   Will not call them back.

Received a call stating it was a last attempt, that the IRS was suing me and to call back at the same number for more information.  I know the IRS mails letters first, so I will not follow up, but it is a scare to hear that the government is trying to sue me.

Yes just received this call from the "IRS" saying they were filing lawsuit, what's funny is the "IRS" called on my home phone which has only been connected a couple months (we don't use a home phone just our cells), hard to believe this was the final notice when we never got a 1st one. Scammers

Spoke 2 IRS agent, claims my 08'-12' income did not match my tax return & local Sheriff would b serving a warrant for my arrest. That I need an Attorney of record, and Sheriff will have the paper work.  I was rude, he hung up on me.  Still waiting on that Sheriff.

Same. Only claims my tax return didn't match my spending & sheriff's dept has paper work on my arrest warrant, to have my attorney ready to accept service.... lawsuit, arrest, IRS, all code words to make me fearful & thus compliant.  I was not,,,,either afraid nor compliant.....

I worked for IRS so I knew this was a scam!  They called 3 times today on my cell phone.  How do they get cell phone numbers?  They are so stupid.  They know nothing about the way IRS works.  Do they think just those letters will scare someone into calling them.
