Received three calls from this number in two days. Said irs is filling a lawsuit against me. Nice!

I also got a voicemail claiming the IRS was going to sue me and this was my last warning.

Call from IRS stating I was being sued...  LOL!  For what, I have nothing!

I received a call from this number on my home phone that said IRS was filing a lawsuit against me.

I received a call from this number saying this is a final attempt to reach me and that the IRS is filing suit against me. It sounded like a scam, as I hadn't received any other calls or any mail to this point. Glad to hear others are reporting it as a scam as well.

I got  a voice message on my landline stating the same as most others say:  we've been trying to reach you. This is a final notification.  Reason for call is IRS is filing a lawsuit against you.
  It stuck out to me that your message, Mike, states something different coming from them: they want to Audit you.  My assumption is maybe there are several callers then??
  I called back twice and busy signals.  Googled this number and just as I figured, Scam.
But I do like to call back to see if they try to get my S.S. #.  I'd give them them the police department's phone #.   Lol!!!!
 Just remember always...never ever give your vital info out over phone or through mail.

They're still at it.  I just received my ONLY and final warning. Idiots.  Just hope they don't get ahold of an elderly person who doesn't understand what they're doing ... SAD!

I received the same call on my voicemail from the IRS threatening to file suit & they gave me the # to call back. Don't call back! You're wasting your time & possibly setting yourself up for some pain down the road. You may be put in a RoBo Directory. This is not the IRS. I don't answer any calls that don't leave a message or I don't know who they are.

A call on my voicemail from this number saying the IRS was preparing a lawsuit against me, and that I should call a certain number for further information.  Knew this was a scam so placed the number on my call block list.  Hope no one falls for this scam.

The IRS never calls, if they are going to sue they will send a letter.  As soon as I heard the other end, I just laughed.  Besides even if they where to call, their would be a real person on the other end of the phone.

Two calls today. But im care giver to elderly grandmother and it was on her line. Caller id said starbuck i think.

I keep receiving call saying the IRS is suing me, please send me an update.

Got 2 messages today from the dept of the Internal Revenue Service. HA! Says this is my FINAL call(I hope so). The IRS is filing a lawsuit against me.They would not give me their name till I gave them mine.So they hung up on me. I kept calling them back and giving them trouble they keep hanging up on me!don't get caught up on this SCAM!!

Essentially the same experience as the other posts.  A recording with a lawsuit threat.  Must be a scam.  The IRS doesn't operate like this.

same thing as ppl are saying below....that it was the IRS and they have a lawsuit against me (no name mentioned lol) and to return the call.....10/26/15....is someone ever gonna stop this person?  seams like its been going on for a while
